The yellow under awning panels are bound to catch everyone’s eyes as they come over the bridge!! Pop in and grab yourself some fab reading material everyone

24.01.2022 Our lovely designer friend Kim who was once the creative brain behind Big Island Design has shared this post .. they’re not all Screenmakers signage but most of them are ... a lovely walk down memory lane of all the incredible projects we were both involved in

24.01.2022 This one came in today for a refresh looking bright and clean ... not sure how long she’ll stay that way though

24.01.2022 Ginger Meggs is Australia’s longest-running comic strip. It was created in 1921 by Sydney cartoonist Jimmy Bancks. Five cartoonists and 100 years later, kids and grown-ups alike are still revelling in the rambunctious adventures and comical capers of the red-headed larrikin kid who never gets old. Check it out at the Royal Australian Mint. RAM, thank you for giving us the opportunity to be of the print, fabrication, and installation of this exhibition.

21.01.2022 So we’ve been a bit lax of late posting with all the craziness going on but today one of our fastest employees sent us this content to put up. He says I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up this pace all day every day but should have the whole building smashed out in no time I reckon Team Screenmakers FTW

04.01.2022 Print, fabrication and installation of the: Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties. Now exhibiting at the National Archives of Australia.... Check out these unique and captivating photographs of the 1920s criminal underworld, the zeitgeist of an era. These mugshots, known as ‘Specials’, are unexpectedly candid and intriguing portraits of suspects in custody, and they are unlike any elsewhere in the world. Bosses, bruisers, plotters, drug pushers, addicts, sly-grog purveyors and petty crims are all captured by the camera as they stare down the lens into history. But more than simple mugshots, these portraits, and the stories of the sordid sorts they portray, also convey the rise and fall of trends such as the flapper and illustrate the post-war movement of people between Sydney and other cities such as New York and London. The hit BBC series Peaky Blinders found inspiration in this unique photographic archive, as have artists, academics and designers such as Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld. What will you take from them? A travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums here to stay till the 24th of October.

04.01.2022 Here at Team Screenmakers we love it when we have happy customers so we were very pleased this morning to receive these photos from artist Annie Trevillian who praised the lads for the wallpaper prints they popped up in her studio. The artwork looks sensational and we can add this to the list of Jobs Well Done :)
