17.01.2022 In response to feedback and consultation for the Supporting Australian Stories on our Screens Options Paper, The Australian Federal Government has announced changes to Australia’s screen content regulation and support funding programs. We've summarised the key changes and new announcements on our website. Screenwest understands these changes will have impacts on the local industry in Western Australia and implications for productions wishing to film in the state. We are currently working with our Industry Advisory Group to get a clearer understanding of and measure these potential impacts in addition to providing additional information to the WA industry as it arises.

Kelli Cross Karla Hart Chantelle Murray Ngaire Pigram Mitch Torres Each of these deadly creatives will write and direct a ten-minute short that will come together to create one 80-minute scripted feature film exploring the theme of ‘missing Indigenous women’. The fund is designed to support Western Australian companies and individuals by investing in the development of documentary and factual programming.
