25.01.2022 Rocky did not have a good start in his life as you can see. We urgently need to find a foster carer who will help us change this as soon as possible. We do not ...have much information on Rocky, and he will need quite some TLC, so we need to keep it as stress free as we can for this darling boy. Please only apply if you are near Adelaide, no he cannot travel far in his condition. Only apply if you do not have other pets and no small children. To let us know that you are interested in changing Rockys life for the better please fill in our form and if we believe you may be suitable we will be in touch with you. 09.01.2022 Update on Little Pee Wee. Tuesday 8th Jan 2019 Over the last week Little Pee Wee has not had much improvement but neither has he declined. What we know i...s he is blind in 1 eye and possibly loosing sight in the other. He is aware of noises around him and responds to pats but he is not drinking on his own. The vets are going to monitor and reduce his fluids through the tubes to see if he will try and drink for himself. We still feel he has the chance of recovering. We know he will never be 100% but he will be perfect in our eyes. What he needs is time to allow the swelling in his brain to go down so his brain can hopefully have space to start functioning again but to give him this time we need to make sure the vet bill stays low. Please can you help us pay it off. It is currently sitting around $4000. We have come so far we cant give up on him now. Please if you could help by a small donation from skipping your afternoon coffe or drink and donating that amount we would be truly grateful as every bit will add up and help to give him the time he needs If you cant donate thats ok we understand and would love a share just as much as a share will help to bring awareness to Little Pee Wees fight for survival. You can donate via PayPal here:https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr Or donate by EFT here: Bank SA Acct: SA Dog Rescue BSB: 105086 Acct:. 050945240 We are truly grateful for all that have supported, donated and shared so far to give Pee Wee a fighting chance. Thank you. Update 2nd Jan 2019 for Little Pee Wee. This has to be his year. He just needs to respond more for them to release him. From one of our volunteers who visited him: You could tell he was listening to me as his ears were twitching. I scratched his neck and he out stretched his little neck like it was his itch spot. Time is what he needs to heal. If you are able to help with a small donation to keep his vet bill down so we can keep treatment happening please find the options below. But if you cant thats ok a share would be greatly appreciated to help get his story out there. Thank you kindly for all your support and well wishes. Update 30th Dec 2018 on little Pee Wee The vets have very slowly reduced his seizure medication and is now off them completely without any sign of further seizures. He is still being monitored closely with his brain injury as he is not out of the woods just yet but we are holding onto hope. Update 27th Dec 2018 on Little Pee Wee As of today the vets are reducing Pee Wees seizure medication which will be happening over the next 2 days. Hopefully his seizures will not return and they are also checking closely that he doesnt have extensive brain damage. The next two days will be the decider if he will make it or not. Please send healing thoughts to help Little Pee Wee make it through. We just need to see signs of improvement. Update on Little Pee Wee. We are still waiting on a specialist to read the CT and we may not know for 2 days due to Christmas. What the vets can read shows fractures and a bleed. We have asked the vets to keep us updated and we are hoping for a Christmas miracle. Hopefully we see a difference in 48 hours. We will take it day by day for now but each day will costs around $1000 for care. He is being kept comfortable and if the vet decides it is his time then we will do what is right for him. Thank you all for your support. URGENT APPEAL Please can you help us raise funds to help little Pee Wee survive. It could be anything from $4000 to $8000 needed for care. He is currently at Roseworthy Vets receiving the specialist treatment he needs but we cant afford to keep up his treatment and the hard decision will have to be made to put him to sleep. Please if you can help with the smallest amount we would be truly grateful. Thank you. PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr To donate by EFT: Bank SA Acct: SA Dog Rescue BSB: 105086 / Acct:. 050945240 Here is Little Pee wees story. On friday we were asked to take a 2 day old mini foal who had been injured by its mum. We rushed to get him to find he was bleeding from the nose and had swelling around a eye Rushed him to our vet who gave him the usual test and he came back fine. A little sore from a kick but should settle down He has been drinking well but early this morning at 3am he had a seizure. Then another at 5am. He was rushed to emergency at Roseworthy vets with more frequent seizures. All his test have come back fine so they assume there is a pressure or a bleed to the brain Top quality care isnt cheap. Weve basically had to pay a set amount to start treatment which at this time of year with many emergencies and dumpings has sent us broke We need to raise funds for tomorrows CT scans and treatment for intensive care or little Pee Wee will be put to sleep on Christmas eve.

08.01.2022 Scruffy Mutz getting a bit of a touch up

07.01.2022 1st of all my thoughts are with all the people who are now temporarily out of work due to the new government guidelines regarding COVID-19. As a former Chef and having family members and close friends in the Hospitality Industry I know this will be an extremely difficult time for all those involved On a lighter note Scruffy Mutz will still be up and running in the meantime But there will be a few guidelines I would appreciate everyone to adhere to. In order to minim...ise close contact between myself and clients I ask that all dogs be on leads during handover at start and finish of grooming and that owners are not present while grooming is being conducted. Also it should go without saying that if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms please let me know and we can reschedule our appointment Thanks to everyone for your understanding and please stay safe See more

06.01.2022 Just a heads up to everyone Scruffy Mutz will only be accepting cash for all services provided as of 1st July 2019
