22.01.2022 Our SCSA Team have spent there Monday cleaning and sanitising our facility top to bottom. Even though our facility will be closed, we want to assure you we are going to reopen with the highest of quality health and hygiene displayed. We will be doing this clean weekly to ensure you can return without worry when the time comes. - Today we pulled EVERYTHING out and cleaned and completely sanitised every piece of equipment, racks, accessories, weight plates/Dumb Bells, pro...tective wear, walls, windows and flooring. Nothing was left unturned. If you had gloves or shoes in the gym, they were sanitised too!! After chatting to his lovely mum Sharlene, who is floor-side for every class, there is more to this young man then we realise. Here is Ben’s Story.. - Ben has Epilepsy, level 2 Autism, adhd, slight sleep apnoea, learning difficulties and asthma. Ben has Tumors in his eye and neck that got operated on so he can see and breathe.... - Boxing has given Ben confidence and a new level of fitness and happiness. - He has not missed a day of training since joining the gym as he has found a second family at the Sydney Combat Sports Academy and EVERYONE has been accomodating to Ben’s needs and helps without hesitation. - His mood has improved, his fitness has increased and he is much more confident. - He feels like a big brother to the little kids and helps them along with the skills he has learnt already. - Boxing has helped with calming Ben’s conditions and shown him he belongs.
