25.01.2022 Patients undergoing Breast Implant Surgery with Non Certified Physicians ( Cosmetic Surgeon’s ) had 4 times the incidence of BIA-ALCL when compared to a properly trained and accredited Specialist Plastic Surgeon - they were responsible for 83% of all cases reported. This is despite the fact that y do less of the procedure. This recent paper brings up some very interesting points that we hope gets addressed even further.
