25.01.2022 Another recent job completed by Scudamore Constructions... Our client's brief was to transform a wasted undercover space into a much larger guest bedroom. One of the challenges of this job was matching the texture of the rendered finish, along with the paint colour of the existing building which had faded over many years. The finished product saw the new extension run seamlessly into the existing room and we think you'll agree that it came up beautifully, elegantly furnished with antique furniture.

25.01.2022 Here's an update on one of the jobs that we completed in 2015... The photos speak for themselves - but what a transformation! This house located in acreage Middle Ridge Toowoomba represented many challenges to both the design and building execution. The client’s brief was to add appeal to the house façade, as well as provide added functionality to the home. Challenges to the design included a front façade that was originally designed as the back of the house which resulted in next to no curb side appeal, a laundry door that was located next to the front door and a clothesline that was located in the front yard! The major challenges to the building element was working with a 45degree roof pitch - one of only a handful of its type in Toowoomba and working around the septic system which was located in close proximity to the laundry door.

23.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous new year! Thanks for all your support in 2015. With some exciting and unique projects already booked in, 2016 is shaping up to be a big year for Scudamore Constructions. If you are considering a building project in 2016, we'd love the opportunity to discuss it with you.

16.01.2022 Scudamore Constructions might have been a bit quiet on facebook lately, but we can assure you we've been very busy on the tools! Among many of the varied and interesting jobs we've completed this year, this beautiful home for a local Goondiwindi family was definitely a highlight.

14.01.2022 If homes could talk this beautiful homestead would tell a rich story worth listening to. Built during the prime of the wool industry it has changed and adapted to serve the ever changing needs of the different generations of farming families it has hosted. We were humbled in 2017 to be bestowed with the responsibility of reinvigorating and reshaping this gem to accomodate it latest inhabitants. Among the many tasks undertaken, of note were the new roof, upgraded ensuite, mai...n bedroom and walk in robe, built in cupboards to hallways and children's bedrooms and a new laundry/mudroom. The home's thermal comfort was also seriously upgraded with the installation of a double sided fireplace, ducted airconditioning, with the fitting of underfloor insulation and roof insulation blanket. As you can see not only are the results beautiful, they will also ensure that the home is in good stead to serve its current family as well as the generations yet to come.

14.01.2022 Scudamore Constructions may have been quiet on Facebook lately but we definitely haven't been sleeping on the job. Here's another project completed recently. As many farmer’s wives might relate to, the farm homestead is often the last on the to do list. When the client purchased this property the house had been neglected for some time and was in desperate need of some TLC. First on the list was the front stairs. Whilst providing an effective deterrent for travelling salesman they were not conducive to said farmer’s young family. While we were replacing the front stairs we decided to change the position and add a deck to make it more family friendly. Other challenges included rescuing the downstairs floorboards and refurbishing the entrances.

03.01.2022 A photo update on the progress of the beautiful family home we are currently building in Clarkes Rd Goondiwindi. We're presently attending to the many finishing touches in preparation for painting. With the added excitement of a baby on the way for the owners, we (and they!) are looking forward to sharing the finished product with you soon.
