25.01.2022 The Sculptors Society Gold Coast and the Potters May be closed now until further notice , but it’s good to know life still goes on at the Benowa campus. The Curlews have two new baby chicks and are out and about in the gardens so please be careful if driving into the site . Please stay safe and work at home , COVID-19 virus stays active on surfaces for over 24hrs . We can’t adhere to the government requirements to keep the workrooms hygienic and safe, so we all need to ...abide by the rules and slow the spread of the virus and stay safe . 07.01.2022 Here are some photos of the Perides life model workshop held on the weekend with Phillip Piperides . We all had an amazing time and a big thank you to our life model Chris who was very patient sitting all day for us . Everyone had a great time and created some wonderful sculptures .

07.01.2022 Portrait Sculpting Workshop -Change of date. Please note that the workshop will now be on : 23rd -24th November, 9am to 4pm Sculptors Society , Benowa ... Clay , firing, tools, morning and afternoon tea, will be supplied BYO lunch. In this two day workshop you will be able to make a full size portrait bust in clay and also cast a plaster mould. Lainie has just returned from doing a portrait workshop in Florence , Italy and is looking forward to sharing new techniques in sculpting the portrait head.
