19.01.2022 The sheep sculpture is on display at the G.R.E.A.T shop in Hamilton street to show people what it looks like and collect signatures in support of the project. Ive been a bit quite about the sheep sculpture project lately, just had it on the back burner for a while. But now I want to push forward and approach the council to get permission to install the sculpture in the main shopping street and then set up a crowd funding to ask the people of Gisborne to pay for ithe sheep sculpture, and then I'll start work on the next bronze sculpture to be placed outside the Gisborne Library. So when you're in the area please drop into the great shop and sign the petition in support of Sculpture for Gisborne Town Centre.
07.01.2022 With this facebook page I'm trying to gauge community support for this sculpture project to get council onside then it will turn to fundraising. I hope to raise at least $20.000 for the purchase and installation of the "Return to the Fold " sheep sculpture.
