18.01.2022 To celebrate end of session, we are planning to host a trivia night in conjunction with the green room. This will be a free event members and a great opportunity to test midwifery knowledge! Please let us know if you’d be interested in attending by responding to this poll.

16.01.2022 Happy International Day of the Midwife to all our student midwives, SCU graduate midwives & every midwife !!! Please join us on Tuesday May 7th 12-1pm in room C135 to celebrate. Light refreshments will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own lunch or something to share.

13.01.2022 Thank you to all who attended our B-AGM on Monday!!! We are so excited to get started in 2019 and look forward to a really great year filled with educational, fun, and fulfilling activities and events. There are a few Board positions left to be filled, so if you are interested in becoming a SCU Midwifery Society Board Member for the first half of 2019 (6 month term), please contact us via Facebook or at [email protected] with a little bit about yourself, which position...s you are interested in, why, and what you can bring to our team. The positions will be finalised in the coming week. We look forward to hearing from you!



12.01.2022 Our Bi-Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday March 11th. Attending the meeting gives you the opportunity to learn more about the society and provide your ideas and suggestions for 2019. If you would like to be more involved, you can also nominate for a position on the Board! More details to come :)

The correct guess for the vaginal examination was 7cm and fully effaced. The winner is..... Katie Kearney - well done Katie, congratulations. ...
