01.01.2022 Lockyer Valley QLD Supported Independent Living House in Gatton situated in the beautiful Lockyer Valley. 35 minutes from Toowoomba and 45 Minutes to Ipswich We have a Manual Wheelchair accessible vacancy in a beautiful SIL house in Gatton. Funded at a 1-2 rate, however 1-3 would be considered for the right tenant.... The room available is well appointed with its own newly renovated wheelchair accessible bathroom. The house has a lovely outlook and backs onto land where tenants can often see kangaroos, horses and cows roaming around. There are two lounge rooms so in a 1:2 situation, the tenants will be able to have plenty of space and area in the house to set their own things up and enjoy their own space. The house would ideally suit a male tenant best, however all prospective tenants will be assessed individually around their compatibility with the current tenant. The current tenant is a 52 year old man who is very happy, loves playing video games and Uno and going out for coffee, he enjoys interacting with his support workers and has no day to day behaviors of concern.
