15.01.2022 COMPETITION TIME! To celebrate the season closing we are holding our annual relay race, and to get everyone involved we have decided to run our very own DREAM TEAM competition. We have four teams racing this weekend consisting of 3 mushers. There are three legs of the relay: canicross, 1 dog scooter and bikejor. The teams decide who gets to run each leg which is where things get interesting! 05.01.2022 We hope you guys are ready for one last event before we gear up for summer Over the October long weekend we’ll be holding our annual Scootcamp at Stanthorpe which is tailored to suit our newer members group and also targeted as a fun camping trip for our existing members to also brush up on some skills and socialise. Usually this event is held before a season starts however due to COVID we have been forced to push the event back. But that doesn’t mean we won’t make it wort...hwhile! Over the long weekend we will run through a few of the following drills: Harness fitting and breaking Class and gear discussions Line-out and forward drive training Leave it & On-by training We will also hold a trivia night, as well as a few small competitions on the last day to see how much you have all learnt! We will hit the trails early morning and afternoons for some fun runs too. If you are interested in our Scootcamp please reserve your spot on our Facebook event page so we know how many people will be attending. We will be camping at Foxbar Falls a beautiful spot to explore with dog-friendly campsites. This is where we will hold most of our drills and trivia. Then we will head out for our fun runs at Passchedaele forest which is less then 10 minutes away from camp We hope to see you all there to enjoy one last hurrah before Summer arrives
