25.01.2022 Awesome to have the boys back in the gym and training again The boys have really come in on leaps and bounds in their mobility and overall movement competency. Over the next week weeks we will continue to consolidate on what has been learnt and slowly start to integrate new movement patterns as they continue to progress and become more proficient. 09.01.2022 *Single leg Glute Bridge with Adductor Squeeze* _ The purpose of this exercise is to strengthen the posterior chain while simultaneously working on adductor strength using an isometric contraction (client squeezing the foam roller tight). This exercise can further be used to identify hip imbalances and instabilities. _ Why ? ... _ In this instance teaching good pelvic control will form the building blocks in the groin rehab process and alleviate lower back pain. Improving lumbar control through the use of proper breathing and movement mechanics will improve pelvic position. Maintaining better pelvic position will help iron out any imbalances in this area and will assist in obtaining adequate hip strength and stability.
