22.01.2022 Here’s someone coming back to driving, and needing to be made aware of, & practice, the latest Road Rules & Regulations before his Driver Test. A few hours of instruction, & he’s passed the Test and driving his own car whenever he likes! Well done to him, & you can do the same, with our Accredited Instructor.

20.01.2022 We are proud to display our membership of NSW Driver Trainers Association, a group that truely has the best interests of it’s members, and their students, at heart, as core of their manifesto. Set up by professional trainers, facilitators & coaches, the NSW DTA provides information & training to Driver Instructors to remain current, and guarantee our students are instructed to the latest rules, regulations, & laws pertaining to their driving lives.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to another of our successful International Driver Test students. A licence is almost guaranteed to help you either get a job, or, make it possible to adapt to changes in your, or work, availability.

16.01.2022 Here we have a lady with her new future in her hand. The promise of a better life, both with her family, & her job, were realised on Thursday when she passed her Driver Test, & gained her release from public transport necessity. Yes, SDT helped her, but, as always, the individual obtains the Pass. Congratulations, enjoy your new home!

16.01.2022 The official announcement from Service NSW about Driving test cessation: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Visit our COVID-19 page for information and advice on the assistance available for NSW residents and businesses.... https://www.service.nsw.gov.au//book-driver-or-rider-licen Driver testing and COVID-19 In response to the latest health advice and risks associated with COVID-19, the following changes have been made: Driver testing across NSW has been postponed for a minimum period of 2 months. This change comes into effect immediately, and applies to all practical driver assessments conducted by Service NSW. Note: This does not apply to assessments conducted via the Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment Program or any other assessment provider outside of Service NSW. Aged driving assessments will be deferred for a minimum period of 3 months. Holders of a current overseas licence who have become permanent residents now have 6 months to convert to a NSW licence. For more detailed information visit Driver testing and COVID-19.

13.01.2022 To our valued clients & friends, due to the Coronavirus uncertainty, SDT has decided to suspend all lessons for the next two weeks. Take Care, Michael

13.01.2022 With the extreme weather events lately, here’s photographic proof that not all hazards are found on country roads! These was taken at the roundabout at the the junction of Albatross Road and Berry Street, on Tuesday afternoon. The vehicles give some idea of the amount of water on the road, with the bridge being underwater. The last photo was taken on Wednesday afternoon, along Back Forest Road.

10.01.2022 Our students come from all walks of life, all ages, and from all over the world. Yet, we are able to instruct them to such a high level that they are able to pass the Driver’s Test at their first attempt! This is an important point, as, a person on an International Licence who wishes to gain their Australian licence, must pass at the first attempt, or go onto L plates, & begin the path to their licence again! The fact that the probability of gaining a good job relies heavil...y on being able to travel to the job, means that the pressure of passing the Test is greatly increased. This gentleman has now the ability to take up the offer of a fantastic job, which had been denied to him before, as he didn’t have an Australian licence. Congratulations, Shiraz, you deserve your licence, & the opportunities it gives you. See more

07.01.2022 Regarding laws about passengers using mobile phones, as a reply: From: NSW Road Safety- NSW GOV ... The Road Rules don't restrict passengers from using a mobile phone. However, if a passenger is using a phone, the screen mustn't be visible to the driver from the normal driving position. A passenger holding up a mobile phone screen for the driver to see is dangerous and distracting. Road Safety Team

07.01.2022 To all our valued clients and friends, due to the uncertainty of the Corona virus we have decided to cancel and suspend lessons for the next 2 weeks. I will be in touch with those of you that have lessons booked over this time to reschedule a new date. Please take care, Regards, Michael

07.01.2022 Proud to be associated with this mob. Look then up for April’s 3 day session.

03.01.2022 Another chapter in some young drivers’ lives has begun... Today, five students did their Module 2 drives, for the PCYC- sponsored Safer Driver Course. The drives are tailored to increase the skills & knowledge the Learner Driver, & present the road environment to them in such a way that they are prepared for driving without a Supervisory Driver, or Instructor beside them. This dramatically increases their self-reliance, problem solving their way around the roads in a calm, confident, & informed manner.
