We are whaley (sorry, had to) excited to announce that Hervey Bay has been crowned the world's first Wh...ale Heritage Site, a global accreditation scheme initiated by the World Cetacean Alliance. The announcement was made this morning at the Whale Conservation and Heritage Awards, as part of the World Whale Conference 2019. Our whale watching experiences are now leading the way for responsible cetacean eco-tourism worldwide, helping tourists and travelers make informed, 'gold-star' decisions when witnessing these amazing creatures in the wild.
