25.01.2022 Not long until school goes back. I have a limited number of spots available for swim school which commences January 28th 2020. Swim school will operate Sunday through to Wednesday. 25.01.2022 Sorry to inform everyone I am required to close under the new covid restrictions. All swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, aqua fitness and dry fitness are suspended until further notice. 25.01.2022 I checked with COVID hotline this morning 28/11 Swimming lessons and aqua still not allowed, hopefully 1st Dec but they could not confirm that either. Sorry folks it's going to be short notice I think .

24.01.2022 Hi everyone I have had a few enquiries regarding corona virus and the swim school and aqua fitness. I have contacted the corona virus help line. There is no evidence that the virus is riskier in pools provided there is adequate sanitation ( mine is more than adequate). Normal personal hygiene And extra hand washing is a must. There are 3 weeks left of term I will continue to run swim school and all aqua fitness classes until end of term which is 9th April. Nothing on over Ea...ster. Will see what the best advice is after Easter regarding aqua fitness classes. For swim school next term I have decided to run family based classes. I will be the only teacher with children of the same family per class. I will align the start of swim school with the start of term. ( there are rumors school holidays may be extended). 24.01.2022 Ok folks I think we are good to go. 4 square meter spacing applies. For all aqua exercise classes the pool will be laid out in a grid to show clearly where you need to be. With the spacing rules I will only be able to fit a maximum of 10 people in the pool for any of the aqua classes. I will complete swimming lessons up to the end of TERM.....HOWEVER if your child cannot touch the bottom I am asking a parent to be in the water with their child. 23.01.2022 Good morning in response to latest corona updates all aqua aerobics and aqua fitness classes are cancelled from 12 noon today. Whilst patrons are condsidered safe when in the water the same guarantee does not apply upon exciting the water. As schools are remaining open, I will continue to run swim school up to end of term unless otherwise notified. All swimming lessons will be conducted in family groups only. Please let me know if you are withdrawing your child. Swim schools are in a difficult position we have had very little advice, question is are we a gym or a school???

23.01.2022 Hi all, update on restrictions and plans for re opening. Sea Dragon Fitness Swim and Aqua will reopen Monday 20th July which is the start of term 3. This will be the recommencing of swim school and aqua fitness classes. Hopefully by then social distancing will be relaxed. Swim lessons will be family groups. There will be no babies class in term 3 but happy to include babies in family groups or one on one with a parent in the water. New class programs will be posted soon. 19.01.2022 Hi all, the welcome lifting of restrictions in SA were announced today. There was a brief mention of pools but without any details. I sent off a couple of emails to try to get clarification. Hopefully there will be answers over the next couple of days. I suspect swim school and aqua fitness will be second or third stage. 19.01.2022 Only one week left of term. I am taking bookings for term 4 commencing Monday 12th October. Babies recommence this term Sundays 10am. Swim school will be Sunday following babies &Monday through to Thursday after school. I am introducing a Thursday morning session for toddlers and preschoolers . 13.01.2022 Hi everyone in response to todays changes to corona virus I have decided on the following steps. All swim lessons will now be family only classes. ( yes there will be some one on one lessons) Parents are asked to sit in their childrens designated swim area. I will be contacting parents to discuss any changes to lessons day or time. 10.01.2022 New fitness session starting Monday 20th July. SWIM n GYM. Each week a dry fitness program and a wet fitness program will be posted. Book in for a 45 minute session in the pool or on the deck or a bit of both, you decide. Or you may want to do your own thing thats ok too. Use the pool and water fitness equipment or use the treadmill, bike, cross trainer, rowing machine and plenty of resistance equipment, your choice. Bookings required maximum of 6 per session $8. 09.01.2022 Hello everyone, just a little update on plans once restrictions are lifted. Sea dragon fitness swim and aqua will operate Sunday through to Thursday. Swim school will operate 10am-2pm on Sundays & Monday to Thursday between 4-6pm. Swim school will be family only groups. There will be no specific babies class but I am happy to include babies in family classes or conduct a one on one class with a parent in the water. Aqua aerobic, aqua fitness and a new session call...ed swim n gym will be offered before and after the aforementioned swim school times. 02.01.2022 I will be operating swim school for two days during the school holidays to conduct make up lessons. Classes will be mixed, bookings are essential. Tuesday 29th September 4-6pm, Sunday 11th October, 10am-12 noon. There will be ample opportunity during term 4 and term 1 2021 to do make ups as well so no pressure if these dates don't suit.
