18.01.2022 National Geographic moment! A large white pointer was spotted near the Hippolytes over the weekend. Young lady who had a nice school tuna on, had it attacked by... a seal. Karma in the form of an over 6 metre Great White launched itself from the water with said seal in mouth. Must have been big ,as Leah indicated they were in 6 metre boat and it was larger than that. 10.01.2022 So this happened on Wednesday... JB dingo purple over silver run in the long corner as close to the big Hippolyte rock as we could get. Spotting the bait on the sounder and working it, as the fish were pushing the bait against the rock. Renee Little winched it in around 40mins on 37kg.
