25.01.2022 Did somebody say Pop Up Story Time?? Our last Pop Up Story Time for the year is happening in Sea Lake.

24.01.2022 The ‘Buloke Girls Can’ at Green Lake this morning moving through yoga poses with Averyl, listening to two inspirational young women discuss their experiences with positive body image and self-confidence with lots of take home messages and finishing up chatting over a scrumptious lunch provided by Steph Kelly. Both Chloe and Ash had in their speeches this saying by Rupi Kaur which is a powerful message so have included it here. More details of the event will be in this weeks T...imes Ensign but feel free to talk to either girl about their experiences. I want to apologise to all the women I have called pretty before I have called them intelligent or brave. I am sorry I made it sound as though something as simple as what you are born with is the most you have to be proud of when your spirit has crushed mountains. From now on I will say things like you are resilient or you are extraordinary. Not because I don’t think you are pretty but because you are so much more than that. See more

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is the official R U OK? Day but take the opportunity to reach out and ask R U OK? And remember it's ok to say you're not ok.

12.01.2022 Roaming Santa has been really busy this week visiting the post office, Haueslers, Foodworks, St. Mary’s graduation, bowls, tennis, Berriwillock and some people’s homes. Only 80 photos can be listed in one Facebook post so if you know you have had a photo taken and don’t see if below - don’t worry - they will all still be included in the draw and I will get them all up this week at some stage. Thank you to everyone who has joined in and posed for a photo. The week two draw will take place Monday morning and the winner posted here and in the Times Ensign. Following this week’s photo draw, all the photos that have been taken from week one and two will be combined together and a second chance draw will take place. The second chance winner will also be given $50 - along with the winner of week 2.

11.01.2022 Council is currently looking for new volunteers to join our band of Meals on Wheels volunteers. Volunteering is one of the many things that makes Buloke such a... great place to be. Our volunteerism participation is one of the highest in the state, providing an enormous sense of satisfaction and increased self-esteem. Delivering nutritious meals to seniors and people with a disability in your community takes just 30 to 60 minutes. A small investment in time for a big outcome. Get involved and become a volunteer!
