23.01.2022 Independent Play is This requires testing personal responsibility as well and their ability to sense how far is too far or too long for them to swim. It also engages hand propulsion due to the accurate turn required. Nice work PIPER!

19.01.2022 Giving a late shout to some of my kids who competed in their carnivals the last couple of weeks. First of all to my girlies Karla and Airlia who had there carnival last week and gave it their absolute all! Airlia placing 3rd in her breaststroke and forth in the freestyle and to Karla who killed it and came 1st in the freestyle, 2nd in breast, 3rd in the back. Good work girls! Phoenix nailed all her final heats coming 2nd in freestyle and first in both back and breast. Wooo ...go Phoenix! Rose who has amazed me with her lovely swimming the past few weeks won her freestyle final. Amazing work Rose! And finally Will who came a final 3rd in back and 1st in breaststroke! All done with just half an hours lessons a week that is some amazing results!! Love all your hard work guys and GOOD LUCK AT ZONE TOMORROW!! See more

14.01.2022 Being able to show your swimmer digging actions underwater while they are trying it is one of the best ways to create brain to body conections for them. Not only are they seeing what you are asking for but their brain literally lights up doing it themselves!
14.01.2022 Just a reminder there will be no swimming over the Easter Long weekend, Friday 30th- Monday 2nd April. Hope you all have a lovely Easter

03.01.2022 BACKFLOATS WITH NOAH When teaching backfloats your child has to be both happy willing having fun- here singing our ABCs as this will become a reflexive safety skill for when they are tied and need to rest, so their desire to float needs to be interpreted into their skill set. We are also learning the skill of rolling with the shoulder and head following a good breath to the continue the swim
03.01.2022 Hi everyone, For everyone who swims at the Kirrawee pool, we are now asking for all kiddies to please wear a swim cap to keep the water quality clean for a healthy swim environment. Here is a clip of some different ways of putting on a cap We also ask if a swim nappy and togs can be worn if your child is not yet fully toilet trained to avoid any code Browns in the pool. Thanks guys! Rach ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J1KliWl6mtk See more
