22.01.2022 HANDY AROUND THE HOME? Want to make a job out of it? We are looking for someone to join our maintenance team, supporting our Somerset properties and also do s...tore work in our Somerset Hotel Bottleshop. The role will be providing general "handy person" duties, basic maintenance, painting etc and store duties, including unloading of weekly stock orders, loading fridges and store rooms, delivery of online orders in the Burnie & surrounds area and some customer service as required You MUST have a current drivers licence and ideally a forklift licence. The role will be casual with possibility of permanent part-time, approximately 30 - 35 hours per week, with a roughly 50/50 split between maintenance and store duties Please submit your interest with current resume and details of recent experience to [email protected]

22.01.2022 We are very excited to be close to opening our doors to you again. We are making sure all our cleaning & social distancing protocols are in place so you can feel VERY comfortable to come back in. Now, so we can make sure everyone can get a booking we will have timed services. Hopefully soon the numbers allowed in venue will change again and we can go back to (almost) business as usual. But for now - here are the days & times you can book with us LUNCH - MON-SUN 11.3...0am (out by 1pm) or 1pm. DINNER SUN - THURS 5pm (out by 6.30) or 6.45pm DINNER FRI-SAT 5pm (out by 6.30) or 6.30pm (out by 8pm) and 8pm (for a later night out!) Bookings are essential but we will look to update you daily if seats are still available for any "last minute" diners. Any table bookings of 10 or more will need to be on out last seating of that service to make sure we have enough time to look after your table properly. You can call from today to make a booking between 11am and 5pm only please. Cant wait to see you all!!

19.01.2022 FOOTY IS BACK ON - and we are happy to get our tipping going again. We might be limited to numbers in venue but we are happy to take tips via the bottleshop. Ring to register 11am - 5pm and make sure you are registered and paid up before the first bounce Thursday. Government restrictions on numbers do lift a little today BUT unfortunately, we still need to abide by the 1 person per 4 sqm rules so please be aware there are still capacity restrictions in place on the different areas of the hotel. These are clearly marked, and we are here to help. So - please be patient with us a lit...tle longer while we all navigate the slow return to normal together. 01.01.2022 We just wanted to let all our wonderful customers know that we will not be opening our bistro on the 18th May when the Stage One restrictions come into play. We are hoping to reopen in line with Stage Two when the restrictions are not quite as severe but we promise we will give you plenty of notice to plan your first meal back with us as soon as we know!
