24.01.2022 Hey guys! Looks set to be a warm one again this Saturday Make sure to slip, slop, slap and run/ walk to the conditions so you don't over do it! We are still in need of 2 x marshals and 1 x Finish Token Support. The event cannot proceed without these roles filled so if you want to have a week off running or perhaps you are injured, please consider volunteering as we would hate to have to cancel

19.01.2022 Very excited to confirm that we will be back this Saturday 5th December! We will have a QR code for everyone to scan using the mySA Gov app. More info to follow in coming days but please as we prepare to relaunch, ensure you are familiar with the participants code of conduct. Can't wait to see you all Saturday!

18.01.2022 3 First Timers and 6 new PBs this week for (not)parkrun! Travis Stewart was the fastest male time at 22:40 and Jan Van Wyk again our first female finisher at 27:22. Love to see the pbs coming through! The days are starting to get longer again and looks like some good weather again for the next few days, perfect time to get out and complete (not)parkrun!

17.01.2022 This week we had just 14 runners complete 18 (not)parkruns. Gordon Anderson had the fastest male time with 26:41 and Jan Van Wyk had the fastest female time of 27:17. All the results can be found here! Stay active everyone!

16.01.2022 Calling all parkdogs! We know we have lots of handsome and adorable parkdogs at Seacliff Esplanade. Check out this comp for your chance to win then some food and you some active gear

16.01.2022 As we prepare to return to parkrun we want everyone to know what to expect so over coming days we will be sharing with you any changes. Here is the new Volunteer Code which is part of the Covid Framework. All events will now be app only (goodbye ancient stopwatches!), sanitizer will be provided to all volunteers on arrival and as required, and our number of volunteers has increased slightly. We will now be aiming for one barcode scanner for every 50 runners/ walkers to get you scanned quickly and moving on! Please familiarise yourself with this and any questions let us know!

15.01.2022 **Important notice** To enable our parkrun event to safely return we have had to make some changes to comply with local Covid requirements. To maximize the potential for social distancing, when we return on 21/11/20, we will be using our temporary alternative course. Whilst the turnaround points will remain the same, the start and finish points and the location the pre run brief is held will be moved. The pre run brief will now be held in the Kingston Park Coastal Reserve and... the start line will be adjacent to that (just past the foot bridge). The finish line will now be approx 200m further along also in Kingston Park Coastal Reserve. We are excited about this change as it is going to ease up a lot of the congestion experienced at the original finish line. Please continue to park where you normally would and please continue to be respectful of all guests at the Caravan park and other path users. It's getting closer!! See more

15.01.2022 The good news is we have a full roster for next weeks event! The not so good news is we still need another marshal to safely hold this weeks event. Anyone able to please help out?!

12.01.2022 Great news out of HQ overnight! Pending SA Govt lifting restrictions on Dec 1, parkrun will return in SA on Saturday December 5th 2020! Let's all keep everything crossed!

08.01.2022 Here is the most recent update from parkrun Australia detailing the framework we will follow and operate under when parkrun returns! There is still no return date set however hopefully this is a positive step in that direction. We are missing you all and hope to have our community reunited soon. Stay warm and we look forward to continuing to see lots of you out and about on the Esplanade.

07.01.2022 We are very grateful for the overwhelming response for volunteer offers for our first event back! That week is now full We would love to see some more names filling up the next few weeks! Volunteering is a great way to get started or to ease back into things. Some of the roles you can even volunteer and participate. Volunteering is easy and fun and they are integral to the success of each event. So please take a look at the roster, pick a role and a date, and then drop a comment below or pm us

07.01.2022 Breaking news! Dust off those barcodes and put 21st November in your calendar! The countdown is now on

06.01.2022 We are counting down the sleeps until 21/11/20 when our parkrun community is reunited again. We can't wait to see you all! Whilst we will remain the same free and fun event, we will be operating slightly differently when we return. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the new Walker and Runner code.

05.01.2022 Formal advice received from parkrun HQ... Due to yesterday’s announcement from the South Australian Government, the reopening of parkrun in South Australia due this Saturday 21 November will now be delayed by a minimum of two weeks. We know everyone was looking forward to getting back out there and we were too. Hopefully it won't be long, hang in there, we will see you soon ... Seacliff Esplanade parkrun team

02.01.2022 Results are in! Last week we had 22 parkrunners complete 25 (not)parkruns.
