25.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope you all have a good break. Don’t forget that next Thursday we will be conducting Seniors Training, but only for Blue Belt three stripe and above. 6:30pm to 8:00pm so make the most of the opportunity because the grading will be the first Thursday night of the new term, All going well. And just for something to ponder while you practice: If you believe you can do something or believe you can’t, you will be right

25.01.2022 Hi all, Apologies for the late notice. I hope you’ve all had a great festive season and feel refreshed and ready for a new and, fingers crossed, promising and productive 2021. The new term will commence next Monday, (18th January), and there will be some slight changes to training times. Due to time issues I’ve been forced to move the little guys class to Tuesday evenings, but am able to extend from half an hour to 45 minutes. See the following:... 4-6year olds - Tuesday evening- 6:00pm to 6:45pm 7yrs and over white, yellow and blue belt - Monday and Thursday - 6:30pm to 7:30pm Red and Black belt - Monday and Thursday - 7:30pm to 8:30pm Apologies for any inconvenience. Please come and have a chat if you wish to discuss any of this. Memberships are due also, but we’ll discuss when we’re back to training. FYI though, it’s a bit cheaper than last year so that’s always a good outcome. I look forward to seeing you all again next week. If you’ve been taking it easy the last couple of weeks, now is a good time to start some light stretching. Once again, let me know if any queries. Kind regards Mike

24.01.2022 Sorry guys. No training next week due to the school requiring the gym for their school concert. That time of the year again!!! Pass the message onto those who may not have access to the page.

24.01.2022 Think about where the journey's taking you and not how hard the road is. If you're not inspired by this, then you need to reevaluate your reasons for learning martial arts.

22.01.2022 Soon we will have pens and coffee cups with our club logo on them for sale! If you're at all interested please let us know via Facebook or after training. *model not included*

21.01.2022 Hi everyone. I hope you all had a good break. Training will resume on Monday the 22nd January 2018 at the normal time, (6:45pm). Pass this on to anyone you know who may not have access to this page. Hope to see you all there....

20.01.2022 Hi all. Monday went well I thought, and thank you to those who were able to attend. Looking at numbers for tomorrow, Thursday, I think the early session should be ok, but Im concerned we might have more than were allowed for the 2nd session. Can everyone intending to train tomorrow please let me know ASAP, especially red and black belts. Other than the guys who trained Monday, if I dont hear from you, I wont be expecting you. Once again, ensure you remain outside until t...he first group have left and I give you the ok to enter. Hand sanitizer is available so make sure you use it and if its your first night back, youll need to complete the COVID form. Regards Mike See more

19.01.2022 Hi all, A big thank again you to all who have been able to return to training over the last couple of weeks. Just a quick update to the COVID-19 restrictions and we now find that after a further lifting by the State Govt., we can operate with normal numbers in the Dojang. While this is great news, we must still be aware that hand sanitation and social distancing is priority and must be maintained at all times within the club during training sessions. While I believe contact ...training for indoor sports will be allowed by the end of this week, we will probably maintain our current non-contact training until the new term. And in regard to that, there will be no training through the school break. Hopefully see you all soon, if I havent already... Kind regards Mike See more

19.01.2022 On behalf of Seaford and Southern Vales Taekwondo I offer my sincerest condolences to the family of my friend and colleague, Paul Cooper. I am so disappointed I wasn't able to catch up with him for some time and was absolutely shocked and saddened by the news of his passing today. Paul, you were a true gentleman of our Art. Your passion for not only Taekwondo, but for it's future development in South Australia is testament to you. Our State is only strong because of people such as yourself, prepared to selflessly devote valuable time and effort so that others will be better off. Your students and the SA Taekwondo community in general, have lost a true leader my friend. Annyeong-hi gyeseyo. RIP.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone. I hope youre all safe and well... As youve probably heard, we are able to resume training, although some restrictions still must be observed. My intention is to get back into it on Monday the 8th June, but there will need to also be several changes that will require everyones attention. While we will still train Monday and Thursday evenings, there is a slight change to the times. With this in mind, please take note of the following:...Continue reading

14.01.2022 Nice execution...

13.01.2022 One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing com...munity service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door. Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Parliament lined up waiting for a free haircut. And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it. If you don't forward this you have no sense of humour.

11.01.2022 Huge congratulations to those students who successfully performed 1st and 3rd Gup examinations last night. Your skill level was of a very high standard and considering the conditions we were under, your focus was exceptional. You raised the bar for those watching, delivering the physical and mental strength I expect everyone to work towards. Special thankyou to senior Black Belts who assisted and especially for the year that's been while my works affected my attendance more than I've liked. Love the pressie too!! Return date for 2016 will be Monday the 18th January 2016, but in the meantime have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year, enjoy the break and see you nice and refreshed. Komapsupnida!!!!

11.01.2022 Hi all, no training tomorrow night. I apologise because the last few weeks have been so disruptive due to my work commitments. There will be a Hapkido grading next Tuesday night if anyone would like to come along and catch up, otherwise I wish you all a merry Christmas and happy new year. I will let you know a return date in 2018 within the next week. Best wishes to you and your families.

04.01.2022 Hi all, Well, hasn’t this year been one for the ages!! We have obviously been given the go-ahead to resume training, but it only leaves us three more nights until the year finishes; and with a large amount of people due to grade to their next belt level. We will be back tomorrow evening, but there will be a couple of important changes for you to take note of: ... * the 4-6 year old class is cancelled for the remainder of 2020. * white, yellow and blue belts will commence training tomorrow at 6pm until 7:30pm. * red and black belts will commence training tomorrow at 7pm until 8:30pm. Tomorrow’s session will determine who will grade next week and who won’t. Not normally how I prefer to do it, but no choice unfortunately. If however you don’t attend, don’t expect to grade. Next week will be all about gradings, but will be explained in-depth tomorrow so do your best to get there. I apologise for any confusion, but as you can understand, its the only way I can see this working to achieve an outcome. I thank you all for your patience in these crazy times, but I’m sure we can work through this and get it done! See you tomorrow... Kind regards Mike

03.01.2022 A grading to remember last night. I was so proud of my three outstanding Black Belts and the constant focus and strength of character displayed throughout the night. Congratulations to Stewart an Stephanie on achieving 2nd Dan and Amy with 3rd Dan. Your accomplishments since you started your martial arts journey are something for you to be extremely proud of and for other students to admire an aspire to.
