Jones, a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, has been nominated to become Rotary International’s president for 2022-23, ...a selection that will make her the first woman to hold that office in the organization’s 115-year history. 09.01.2022 Last Thursday with the lockdown finally over, the Rotary Overseas Recycled Playgrounds (RORP) RC Mount Martha team and Sam from Rotary Club of Flemington Kensin...gton were finally able to load some playgrounds into a container bound for Sri Lanka at Rotary Donations in Kind West Footscray. On Saturday, members from Rotary Clubs of Mount Martha, Yarraville Rotary and Rotary Club of Ivanhoe as well as the indefatigable Sam from Rotary Club of Flemington Kensington loaded another container which will leave here next month. There will be so many smiling faces next year when these playgrounds are re-assembled in Sri Lanka. #peopleofaction #rotaryoverseasrecycledplaygrounds #RORP See more
