02.01.2022 Central Station, Brisbane, overlooking Anzac Square. Marjorie Norval alighted from a car outside the railway station at 7pm on 11 November, 1938 and was never officially seen again. Although her body was never found, a coronial inquest in 1942 declared that she had been murdered by an unknown abortionist. This book posits that Marjorie descended stairs to the subway underneath Central Station, exited into Anzac Square and walked approximately 200 metres to the rooms of Brisbane's most active abortionist in Edward Street. The author has uncovered evidence in the Queensland State Archives that suggests that top police and politicians manipulated the coronial inquest.
