24.01.2022 #UPDATE: Traces of COVID-19 coronavirus have been detected in sewerage going into the Elanora treatment plants. The samples were taken on 14 December 2020. #EA...RLIER: Gold Coast residents are being urged to get tested for coronavirus if they display any symptoms after positive wasterwater samples were detected on the Gold Coast. COVID-19 traces have also been detected in wastewater in Townsville, Cleveland, and North Cairns. People travelling from greater Sydney or the NSW Central Coast will have to have a COVID-19 test on arrival in Queensland and will have to quarantine until they get a negative result. MORE: https://ab.co/2J38eYJ Anyone travelling from the Northern beaches will need to apply for an exemption to enter Queensland, and if granted will still need to go into hotel quarantine for 14 days. From 1am tomorrow, anyone travelling from NSW into Queensland will need to complete a border pass declaration form.
