15.01.2022 Grand Final! Our ladies league tag team have done the club proud again in 2020, qualifying f for the A grade GF with a golden point victory over Fingal Bay. They face off against Aberglasslyn, who again have been the pacesetters and are the reigning premiers.... Thankyou to all our sponsors in 2020 who’ve got us on the paddock, the committee and coaches who dedicate so much time, and the players who rep the Seahorses every week. Get behind the horses this Saturday with the game kicking off at 10am, Lakeside Sports complex, Raymond Terrace.

13.01.2022 Great turnout for men’s and women’s tonight Thanks to all for ripping in during the tough pre season

13.01.2022 Vale Bill Wondergem. Bill was a big part of the clubs early years, an old school prop who avoided preseason fitness because I’m not fit enough and a connoisseur of black beer. Bill was a long term volunteer and supporter of ours, and will be well remembered and much missed.

12.01.2022 Vale Bruce Cruicks. Bruce was a founding member of the Seahorses, player, secretary and president and all round club stalwart of the club’s early years. Bruce gained a PhD in special education and developed programs for adult literacy.... Bruce always maintained an interest in the club and had a trove of great yarns from across our history. Our thoughts are with the Cruicks family. Tomorrow both our teams will wear black armbands in honour of one of our greats. Both teams play at Bower Oval Glendale 140 pm LLt 300 pm Men’s https://www.legacy.com/obituar/name/bruce-cruicks-obituary

10.01.2022 Grand Final Day! Swim with the Seahorses 10am at Lakeside Raymond Terrace

09.01.2022 Mixed results for the Seahorses yesterday at Fingal Bay. Our ladies led off and controlled the game well, running out with a solid 14-6 win. Fullback Claire Spain was fantastic from the back with the centre wing combo of Bronte Collins and Kate Gallagher were dangerous all game. Our men’s team ran in next and led for most of the match, with some great long range efforts, but mistakes and weight of possession took a toll in the final quarter, and Fingal were able to snatch a 32-30 victory in the last few minutes

08.01.2022 This weekend sees our League Tag team enjoy the bye, while our men’s team take on reigning champions and competition leaders Dora Creek at Dora Creek Saturday afternoon at 3pm See you at the Ground!

08.01.2022 Seahorses battle hard against a strong Beresfield side.

06.01.2022 Our league Tag team made a very welcome return to the winners circle, defeating an always courageous Maitland United Rugby League Sports Club Indigenous Corporation 36-12 at King Edward Park. Centre Bronte Collins scored a treble, while Half Alannah Hemsley directed the team well and captain Claire Spain was in everything from fullback. A great team effort after several difficult weeks

05.01.2022 Another game on the road and another cracking effort by the Seahorses. Glendale scoring a try in the last minute of the game to steal the win. Thanks to all the seahorses fans that come out for the game

05.01.2022 Coaches Jarred and Craig are starting to do fitness sessions every Saturday 8:30am at Nobbys Lighthouse. Everyone is welcome, league tag and tackle. ... Let’s try and get some numbers to make it enjoyable and get a head start on the year coming season. See more

03.01.2022 The Seahorses faced off against competition leaders Dora Creek yesterday in ideal conditions at The swamp. The teams traded early tries before a very classy Dora outfit began to assert their dominance and held a comfortable lead by half time. Uni kept coming, but struggled to mount consistent pressure. Final score 66-8, with the Swampies committee kindly throwing on some beer and food post match. Next Saturday both teams travel to Fingal Bay with close contests expected in both games

03.01.2022 Unfortunately we couldn’t spring an upset today against a very good Aberglasslyn RLFC going down 14-2, but we are all tremendously proud of the effort to qualify for the GF and of the performance by our players today. Our women’s team have taken the field in every league Tag GF since the sport’s introduction in 2016, and we will be back and ready to challenge again in 2021! Thankyou to all who’ve contributed this year.... Thanks to Valentine Sports Photography for some great action shots from today https://www.facebook.com/208665052591227/posts/2124837597640620/?d=n

03.01.2022 The boys fought hard tonight on the Central Coast but just came up short!
