21.01.2022 For anyone who has been thinking about joining us for Aqua bootcamp, heres a look at what last nights session looked like. 3 rounds had us all looking . If youd like to give it a try, you can join us on Sunday at 4pm, or Tuesday night at 7:15pm.

20.01.2022 As of tomorrow afternoon, Erryn will be on maternity leave. She joins Kirby who started her leave last month. We would like to say a big thank you to both of them, for the amazing job they have done creating such a wonderful group exercise environment. We will miss them while they are away, but wish them all the best with their new babies. ... All classes will continue as normal with Hayley filling in for Erryn and Kirby while theyre away.

20.01.2022 Have you been looking for an over 50s exercise class in the Burnie area for yourself or someone you know? Our move it or lose it class involves a mix of cardio, body weight and resistance exercises that are safe and challenging for all abilities. Cost is $6 per session and they run every Tuesday and Thursday in the PCYC building (joined to the aquatic centre).

19.01.2022 Have you tried our aqua sessions yet? We want all of our sessions to offer a great total body workout, but we also like to have fun! (Which sometimes means wearing tiaras on client birthdays ). We run classes on all weekdays, with morning and evening classes on offer. If youd like to give it a try, we have aqua fit on tonight at 6:15pm, followed by our aqua boot camp class at 7:15pm (which is a land/water mixed class ). Bookings arent necessary, so you can just turn up and see what its all about.

17.01.2022 Due to the end of year school picnics, there have been a few tweaks to our timetable for this weeks sessions. This week is your last chance to join us for our fitness classes for 2019. Our final Aqua Bootcamp is tonight 7:15pm and our final 6am Aqua fit is tomorrow morning!

16.01.2022 Sunday at 4pm and Thursday at 7:15pm - come along and join us for a workout with a difference. Programmed with a combination of water exercises, lap swimming and land exercises - its sure to get your heart rate up and your muscles working.

16.01.2022 Heres a little taster of what you can expect in a 6am aqua class. This was this mornings workout - all 4 sets were done for 8 min rounds (after a nutbush warmup of course! )

16.01.2022 We are in the process of tweaking our timetable again, and one adjustment will be the postponement of our Thursday 6am land based class until further notice. We plan to bring it back with gusto once the weather warms up and we can keep it as an outdoor class.

15.01.2022 Council and Burnie Aquatic Centre management are pleased to advise the indoor pool will re-open on Monday 13 July 2020 consistent with the state Government Road...map to Recovery. Whilst Stage 3 restrictions have been brought forward to noon on Friday 26 June, a period of time is required for pool heating, water treatment and testing. Visitors will need to comply with physical distancing regulations which will be one person per 2 square metres. Hygiene rules will apply throughout the centre including in change rooms. Council and Sea-Lyons Aquatics would like to thank the community for your patience during the COVID-19 closure, and we look forward to patrons taking full opportunity to enjoy the facility.

11.01.2022 Due to school learn to swim bookings, we have a slight timetable change FOR THIS WEEK ONLY. Our mid morning aqua session is the only class effected. All classes will go back to their normal times from the 2nd of September (11:15am Monday and Wednesday and 10am Friday). We apologise for any inconvenience.

Sea-Lyons Aquatics would like to thank all our members, customers and swim school students for their continued support through this challenging time.
