16.01.2022 The ultimate fashion accessory the cam boot. To all my amazing clients new and old thank you for your patience with me over the last 5 weeks as I have been slowed down by ankle surgery. This beast gets down graded to a smaller version next week and then I should be back taking bookings for onsite training, accommodation res system and marketing sessions from mid November. 12.01.2022 As I spend the next 7 days stuck in bed I thought it was time to practice what I preach and share a bit of my story. This stunning place was where my life on the road began. It was my first ever onsite training while I was working at @rms_hospitality I came from a caravan park background and this property was a 5 Star yet to open hotel. My role was to set up and train their team on the implementation and use of their reservation system. This included charge backs from the hot...el and what is called a night audit process. Something I had never dealt with before working with caravan parks and holiday apartments. It was a bit of a sink or swim moment for me. Hotels are so different to caravan parks and there were so many questions I did not know the answer too. In saying that it was one of the greatest achievements to date for me. What I didn’t know I figured out and I learnt more in the week this property opened than in the 5 years I had worked in the park. Sometimes you have to throw yourself in the deep end to discover what you’re really capable of. Over the next 18 months I would find myself in this situation numerous times and each time I came out knowing so much than I had before. I follow the philosophy that if there is a will there is a way and I will always find a way. I think my favourite saying is #leaveitwithme or #I’llfigureitout too often I see so many people throw their hands in the air or problems in the too hard basket.
