17.01.2022 My first sewing project for 2017 is an elephant in elegant French linen fabric for a very special little someone, my great-niece, having her first birthday soon-ish.

16.01.2022 After a lovely mother/daughter sewing day yesterday (a great way to hide from the heat), making alterations to two of my daughter's new tops, today I made her this purse with leftover fabric and made the lining from leftover fabric from a tote bag I made her a couple of years ago. A button from my vast button collection tops it off. (Pattern is called Caroline Clutch from ithinksew website).
