17.01.2022 The old floor through the kitchen and dinning room was ripped out and replaced. We left the original floors in the bedrooms. Its a little hard to see in the photos but we staggered the new floor boards in to the old ones at the hallway.

17.01.2022 Some of the local wildlife had decided to move in before us.

05.01.2022 Began constructing the stairs. I also decided to add some extra bracing as the old house already had a bit of a tilt to one side.

03.01.2022 Last week the plasters got started. Next week he starts setting the joints. We had a lot of late nights getting everything ready for them. All the door jambs had to be in as the plaster is square set to the doors and windows. We also had to temporarily fix the skirting for the shadow line.

03.01.2022 We maxed out the insulation in depth of the rafters. R4 in the raked ceilings, R5 in the flat ceilings, in addition to the roof blanket. R2.5 in the walls.
