23.01.2022 The passion for daylight lightning photography is a topic I love to shoot as we hardly see any daytime lightning shots. This lot was taken at Speers Point then over the bridge to Marmong Point. It's a skill, a very dangerous one, you are within distance of a lightning bolt striking you at 20km. I'm out there when its right on top of you within metres sometimes. Understanding a cells' projection and behavior will help though as nature is extremely unpredictable caution and ri...sk must be accepted. No triggers, no short cuts, pure knowledge. To obtain the images no one else will, you have to do what others wont. Enjoy :)

09.01.2022 Managed this one before got absolutely drenched on Monday, lightning at Speers Point :) As you can see the strike looks faded, this is caused by the rain diluting the strength of the strike within a 6 second exposure.
