16.01.2022 UPDATE: Due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the uncertain world around us just now, we have decided to put rider registrations on hold for the inaugural Sea Otter Australia bike festival. The event is scheduled for 2-5 October 2020 at Stromlo Forest Park, ACT. The event organising committee issues our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Well closely monitor the situation over the coming months to determine a clearer position when it is more appropriate to do so. We... continue our work to bring you an awesome bike festival in early October (or another date yet to be determined) which we know will be a shining light that we will all need; a celebration and bike party like no other! A reconvening of the bike industry; an opportunity for the community to show your support to our wonderful exhibitors; to ride bikes and to connect with each other. We are thinking of our riding community and each and every one of you in these tough times. We wish the best for your safety and thank you for your support thus far. 14.01.2022 Sea Otter Play Coast to Capital Challenge: The Festivals second longest Challenge is hosted right here in Aus! The 280km gran fondo starts in the seaside town of Kiama. From Kiama Harbour, participants head to Jamberoo for the beautiful but steep climb up the Jamberoo Pass to Robertson in the Southern Highlands. 11.01.2022 The Sea Otter Australia team have been working hard to bring the Australian bicycling community a world class event. And while we have been buoyed by the incredible support from the industry and bicycling community, the multiple impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, both in the short and medium term, have necessitated a rethink on delivering our inaugural event in 2020. As a consequence, we have decided to postpone Sea Otter Australia to October 2021, in the interests of ensurin...g the full potential of this unique event can be realised and that an outstanding experience can be delivered for exhibitors, spectators and rides alike. While clearly disappointing, we believe strongly that this decision is in the best interests for the health and well-being of all our Sea Otter family participants. In the meantime, we will continue to ride towards producing a fantastic experience in 2021 and expanding our partnerships network to deliver a truly unique destination festival that will re-define Australasian bicycling culture.
