25.01.2022 Have you seen the Theory of Flight and the steel corkscrew at the Wollongong Art Gallery. The Australian Airforce lowered it in place with a helecopter, they kindly donated the lifting sling to Bert who used it countless times to tow the visitors out of the Art Gallery and Workshop and his home along the steep slippery dirt road on the Jamberoo Mountain with his Toyota Land cruiser. I was fortunate to spend time with Bert and experience his humble but assertive kindness. My main concern was that I didn't break any of his many artworks that lay meters beneath me as I cleaned his three storey's of windows in the hardwood and cedar planked house that he built
