17.01.2022 Yesterday's Variety Bash Queensland was a great school stop! We had some picturesque tracks, an amazing grant presentation to the kids at Dunkeld State School, and a spot of cricket to finish off the afternoon. RAAF medics and mechanics are on tour to keep everyone rolling. Touch wood though, the Kombi hasn't missed a beat. We are meeting some seriously amazing people on this journey and are so proud to be involved in helping to raise money for the kids. ... Injune P-10 State School has 73 students and they have been planning our visit for months. You might be surprised to learn that car sickness is very common, particularly in puppies and young dogs. 01.01.2022 The bash finished Saturday afternoon followed by a gala dinner then a Long and lonely drive home on Sunday with my trusty sidekick! What started off chasing some adventure with my son finished up giving me so much more. New friends, helped lots of kids along the way, raised plenty to allow variety to continue assisting kids that need mentoring, specialised equipment, scholarships and do much more.
