24.01.2022 Yesterday i travelled to Gympie , north of Sunshine Coast for the last junior event in SE Queensland; the Gympie juniir open on a very hot day! Fantastic roll up of kids , parents & supporters saw some great junior squash! Victory Squash staff are to be congratulated for hosting and catering the event! Rosemary did a fantastic job as tournament director( as always!) And congratulations to every competitor from novice theough to the division winners! Squash doing great in regional places like Gympie!
23.01.2022 Hi everybody with my recent move to Gold Coast I have been playing and coaching at local courts on the southern GC!I am hoping to establish myself at the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre wher there are 6 squash courts! Squash is great up here and everybody is so enthusiastic!
22.01.2022 HI all , if you are finding the game of squash getting harder and harder for you and your friends why not try racquet ball? It has really taken off in Victoria and it is fast, exciting and you don't spend as much effort as you do chasing a squash ball around the court! You use shorter shafted racqueats and very bouncy balls that make rallies alot more fun! Doubles is amazing! Just try it!
20.01.2022 The QPRC Indoor Sports facility on Yass Road in Queanbeyan is nearly ready to open! Great news for local squash folks as it includes two new Court Tec courts! The centre wall can be moved to allow for the only proper doubles court in southern NSW! If you want to hire the courts or join a comp team keep a keen eye out! The QueanbeynSquash Club is looking for players for the up coming Spring pennant competition!
19.01.2022 In Queensland there is a person who records most squash events as a volunteer! Craig Stewart is a wonderful contributor from jumiors through to Masters and everything inbetween with his excellent camera skills! He then spends hours at home editing his day's work. Often this is done at his own expense! A parent spoke to me yesterday ayt Gympie and wanted to know what to get him as a thankyou for presenting a framesd image of her son! She was so taken back! Thanks Craig ; we are so lucky to have you supporting squash!
19.01.2022 Hi all, Sarah Fitzgerald will be in Canberra and Queanbeyan with her Court Tec team to build ywo new squash courts in Queanbeyan! We are organisinga talk and clinic at Weston Creek Community Centre courts on the evening of June 5! Cost is $30.00 per adult and $50.00 for families. Bring your gear and maybe have a game or two?
15.01.2022 HI all well yesterday saw 14 keen squashies come to the newest courts in the ACT region for two coaching clinics with the Squash Analysis man Garry! 3 hour sessions just blew people away with his entertaining approach and raw enthuisiasm!!!!!! can only say; don't miss him when he comes to town next time!
10.01.2022 Weather is warming up on the Gold Coast and the local squash centres are buzzing ! Nerang last night had such me pretty tight matches on all six courts! Dale Robbins’ five set win was a classic! Tonight I’m off to Southport for free squash with a group of uni students from Griffith University before junior coaching back at Nerang in the morning then a drive to Brisbane to watch the action at the Queensland Open! Squash is alive in southern Queensland!

You don’t need to be super fit or great with eye/ hand coordination! There is modified gear available to make your experience more njoyable! It’s weather safe, so n safe, family friendly and really burns. callories and uses brain cells! You have four walls to hit the ball onto as you try and play agai...nst a partner in n singles or why not try a game of doubles? 04.01.2022 Hi everybody I am going to be living on Sunshine Coast until 19 April. I have visited a couple of squash facilities in the region and am very keen to do some coaching until i return to the Gold Coast! I am happy to coach individuals or groups( up to 4 people) My fee is $60 per hour not incl court hire or $100 per hour for groups. Great location , great weather and atmosphere so everyone should be in for a really enjoyable two weeks! The hosting courts !
