22.01.2022 SUPPORT OUR SMALL BUSINESSES As we inch closer and closer to the silly season, the Shire of Dandaragan would like to encourage you all to think about the year t...hat our local small businesses have had. Some spent many months closed down with no income. Some ploughed on with reduced incomes, putting pressure on families to make do. Some didn't make it at all. Small business really is at the heart of our communities. So we were pleased to see the Small Business Matters Think Small First initiative being supported across the State. So for those early Christmas shoppers, instead of getting online and buying from big chains or overseas factories, why not visit your local small business and have a look at what they have to offer for your gift-buying. A local hand-crafted item, piece of art, or voucher for somewhere local will not only highlight our wonderful towns, but will support local families and ensure the $$ stays where it belongs...in our communities. Spread the love by commenting and tagging your own, or a great local, small business and feel free to comment with what's available in-store. Don't be shy, we know there's some great businesses around us and you just might be helping them get back on their feet. <3
