01.01.2022 Delicious, plant based alternative to typical the Aussie Day burger I thought I'd try today, that is kind to our gut health. A burger made with Black Eye Bean Fritters with Kakeslaw and avocado. To make the fritters: - I soaked fresh black eye beans in water and cleaned the hull off (the stuff that floats in the water and looks jelly fish) - processed the soaked beans with an onion, pink salt and black pepper with cumin (add egg or water as desired for consistency) until s...mooth paste - shallow fry fritters (I used heaped tablespoon size scoops) in coconut oil and I added ghee for flavour Cheap, easy alternative to meat that tastes great and friendly for our tummies.
