23.01.2022 Today's exercise tips are specifically for Osteoporosis. Remember that you want to complete weight-bearing exercises/activities as they have an impact on the bones. Try the sit to stand exercise at home, just ensure you use a chair with arm rests or have a table top nearby to help with balance. Sit to stand: 1. Scoot forward on chair 2. Incline trunk slightly forwards... 3. Knees over toes 4. Rise up to standing 5. Slowly lower back to the chair 6. 22.01.2022 Tai Chill classes have resumed Wednesdays at 11 am. It was great to see everyone again and to say hi face to face from our social distancing red dot positions.

Get outside- whether at home or elsewhere, the sunshine's vitamin D will be a great motivation to get moving. Just remember to slip, slop, slap! 2. Explore your city- Perth has some lovely bike and walking paths so try a new one every week 3. Swim in the ocean!... 4. Explore your neighbourhood- Local parks are a great space to walk around, especially if you want to be able to quickly get home 5. Hydrotherapy resumes at Aquamotion Wanneroo on Tuesdays at 1:50pm and Thursdays at 2:50pm. ... Tai Chill is back 11 am Tuesdays. Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention resumes on Wednesdays on Wednesday 17th June at a new time of 1:15pm. Bookings for all sessions essential. Please phone Yvonne for bookings and information on clinic procedures for safe exercise. Please bring own mats or beach size towel for clinic sessions and own pool equipment (noodle and if possible dumbbells) for water sessions.
