24.01.2022 Yesterday was BBQ day, and the food was incredible, as it always is, a huge thank you to our awesome chef Steve and our food services team :)

23.01.2022 Yesterday we had a roaming "Snack Attack" Trolley for our lovely residents to enjoy and there were treats galore! Everyone loved coming to pick an item, or two, or three...

22.01.2022 Our ukulele group have been busy practising the last few months and gave us a great performance during the week. Our residents enjoy hearing them play so much and they are always met with a huge round of applause.

21.01.2022 We had so many lovely deliveries come through our community for Mother's Day, with some very lucky residents receiving some gorgeous gifts. We even received some gifts from the students at Norfolk Village State School for our female residents!

19.01.2022 One of our residents drew this message and stuck it up on our noticeboard this week, which gave everyone a big smile and reminded us how lucky we are at the moment. We've seen so many additional random acts of kindness throughout the community lately too; from making jam for their neighbours to ordering each other Easter chocolates.

15.01.2022 This morning we held our doorway ANZAC Day Service. Residents stood/sat in their apartment doorways as the service was led by our resident, Pastor Stuart, over the PA system. Our residents had been busy making poppy's this week to hold during the service, with Corinne helping to make 30+ smaller ones. A very special thank you to all our residents and staff who attended today.

15.01.2022 We have found the perfect little spot at Hope Island to get out and sit by the water. We enjoyed morning tea in the fresh air, watching the tinnies and jet-skis go by.

14.01.2022 Olive celebrated her birthday on Sunday and received an iPad as one of her presents. We have been helping her use the FaceTime function, and yesterday she got to have a great chat with her granddaughter. Olive has been so amazed by the technology that we went through her contact list to decide who to call next!

11.01.2022 Our amazing Maintenance Manager, Brian, is a man of many talents - just ask any of our residents! As he was leaving the other day, Brian treated us to an impromptu music performance, first on the piano and then he dug out his bagpipes to play a few tunes.

Given the current environment and to keep you and our residents safe this is what we are doing: Tours are by private appointment only and with a restricted number of people per group. ... We are following social distancing rules. We have increased our cleaning across our communities, and we are adhering to recommended health and safety measures for open for inspections. 11.01.2022 Ken was so excited to not only receive his first letter from his pen pal, Cathy, but to realise that there was a picture of her in our Seasons Family News Newsletter. He loved that he could put a picture to the name!

10.01.2022 Our amazing team have been working incredibly hard to deliver all of the IGA orders to our residents, with the order size being about 20 times what it is normally. The team have been saying it's their new workout for the day.

07.01.2022 Flu Shot Reminder! While were discouraging visitors to Seasons given the current health situation, for those who choose to visit please take note that from 1 May 2020, visitors must have evidence of a current influenza vaccination (Government mandated). This is also a requirement on all Seasons team members and those from our care partner Envigor.

06.01.2022 Phil, one of our team members, drove his hot rod to work this week and our residents loved coming to have a look at it parked out front. George, who used to be a mechanic, was particularly impressed - even having a look under the bonnet.

06.01.2022 Gavin has always enjoyed a little "me time" and loves to play games on his computer. We've recently helped him setup his desk so it's his perfect area. He was too engrossed in his game to even look at the camera, but these pictures say it all!

06.01.2022 You can't say we haven't been creative when it comes to social distancing activities, our new favourite game - hallway bingo! We've been going through the different wings for all of our apartments, encouraging residents to sit at their doorways as we play their round of bingo.

03.01.2022 There's an ongoing Upwords challenge happening at Waterford West at the moment. Ruth challenged our Lifestyle Coordinator, Charmaine, to a game, with Esma joining in not long after. Both Ruth and Esma won a game and rematches have already been booked in.

02.01.2022 POWER OUTAGE WATERFORD WEST Our Waterford West community lost power in those storms this afternoon. We are waiting on the generator to arrive at the moment an...d hopefully Energex will have everything working soon. All the residents are fine; just annoyed at not having power. We will keep you updated here and apologies for any inconvenience.

02.01.2022 To support the wellbeing of Seasons residents, our visiting hours across all communities for Mothers Day, this Sunday 10th May, will be from 10am 2pm. We will allow a maximum of 4 visitors from one household, for a one-hour visit in a residents apartment. Children under the age of 16 will not be able to visit, except in special circumstances. As of May 1, all visitors to a Seasons community must have had their influenza vaccination and be able to provide evidence of the immunisation. Thank you for your continued support, we appreciate your help in keeping our residents safe.

01.01.2022 Another day, another board game! Esma challenged Charmaine, our Lifestyle Coordinator, to a game of Qwirkle. Charmaine said that one of the things she is really enjoying during these times is being able to connect one-on-one with residents, more than she usually would be able to during a busy day of activities and outings.
