25.01.2022 As much as I love a good Taylor Swift reference... I love what Bec shares about friendship for tweens and teens more. Read till the end for some good pointers on helping your girl navigate their social world.

24.01.2022 Many of you might not recognize this face but you would recognize the voice. This is the beautiful Tess whose been working behind the scenes in admin to help Seasons Allied Health run smoother. Today was her last day in the office and we went out for lunch to say the biggest thank you- and the warmest wishes as her family is about to grow with a new addition in the coming weeks. We will miss your smiling face and warm presence.

23.01.2022 We are excited to share that Seasons Allied Health has a new home. Don’t worry it’s not too far, in fact just up the hall in Kimberley House room #222. Can’t wait for you to come see us here- we are especially loving our new vertical bookcase.

21.01.2022 Coming from a background working in schools, it is so hard to see the system when it just isn’t working for some kids. These kinds of leaders and innovators willing to go outside the box (when it is really hard to do!) are my hero’s. Love love love this.

21.01.2022 There are days when joy isn’t so much a feeling but a choice. On the days it’s not natural look for the light, the brightness, the strengths you’re building, the small moments of connection, the alternative perspective and somewhere in there the choice switches back to the feeling. JOY.

19.01.2022 Ended 2020 with a fire ceremony, and started 2021 with a sunrise, yoga, and ocean swims. Happy New Year! May it hold all you need it to hold, and bring a sense of peace, joy, and adventure. See you all on 18th- love and kindness, Amy

18.01.2022 Anyone else ready for covid life to be O.V.E.R? We sure are. Amy is so so keen to get back to groups and workshops again! For now though a flashback to the ‘Bringing up brave kids’ parent session last year. Hopefully we can bring back this aspect of @seasonalliedhealth soon.

18.01.2022 We want to wish Amy and James the biggest congratulations on their recent engagement. If you are waiting on emails and calls from us we have been on a short break and will be back onto things again on Monday.

16.01.2022 You are enough. You are doing the best you can, with what you have. Your child loves you. Now repeat that a few more times. Too often I see families where they feel like they’re failing, and everyone else has figured out this parenting gig but them. Just note that we are all in this together and everyone whether they tell you or not has good days, bad days, wonderful days, and meh days. Let’s create a culture of building up others, and being authentic.

14.01.2022 We are taking enquiries now. Get in touch via email [email protected] OR call us on 0424944443 if you are interested in your child taking part. We are accepting current and new families to these groups. So exciting!

13.01.2022 Our phone is currently playing up. Not all voicemails are coming through. Please email [email protected] if you can’t get through. We will advise when we are up and running smoothly again. Apologies for the inconvenience.

13.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the dads, and dad-like figures in our lives today, especially mine who I’ve not been able to see all year. (thanks COVID). Sending love out to you all, knowing it’s not always the easiest day for all.

12.01.2022 Why we play. https://www.nytimes.com//07/21/parenting/play-therapy.html

12.01.2022 This is so valuable.

11.01.2022 Be kind to each other this season. It’s ok to set boundaries. It’s ok to take time out, or time in. It’s ok to practice self care. Give love, receive love, and feel all that you need to feel this season, and know that you are not alone. ... See more

05.01.2022 Have you ever noticed how some people or places just feel like home. Self care is learning to listen to your body, but also your heart. To lean into the spaces and connections that encourage, support, and just feel like a great big warm hug. Sometimes you don’t even know how much you need it till it’s happening. For now I want to acknowledge the warm and heart expanding The Sol Collective

05.01.2022 Back BC (before covid) I wrote out my values and goals for 2020. Amongst this beautiful heartfelt list was a plan to slow down, have more fun, and try new things. For a hot minute there this list was tossed to the side whilst I scrambled to maintain a business, my sanity, and relationships spanning across closed boarders! But then I paused and reflected and decided to take some committed action towards my values. One of the results of this was a wonderful art evening painting... with The Art Dept. (anyone wanting to build patience this is your jam!). It was a sweet and gentle reminder of how refreshing it is for our heart and mind when we live in alignment to our values. Swipe across to see my imperfect still life attempt that even unfinished I cherish with fond memories and a warm heart. What is your soul calling you back to this week end?

05.01.2022 Was going to make this post a story but honestly it deserves it’s own post. I have been working my way through this book and it is just such a great resource. If you have a preteen- teen child then you need to get your hands on it ASAP. I like to think I have a pretty good understanding and awareness of autism but this book has highlighted even more how much our lives, and world is really designed for those who are neurotypical and how much of a head start we have. I love h...ow this book explains in kid/ teen friendly lingo how to deal with us neurotypical people with expertise, understanding, and humour. If you are in clinic over the coming wks I make no apologies for ranting and raving about this book

04.01.2022 Insight is one of my favourite shows as it portrays the very real, very honest lives of people. This is a great insight into health anxiety- and how much impact irrational thoughts can have on Mood and wellbeing. Going to miss Jenny Brockie’s face a lot as she moves on front this long standing project. Amy

03.01.2022 Also just cause I love to lift up other ladies doing really cool things. You are amazing Emily Calandrelli what an epic role model to our kids not only for being an ace science guru, or educating in a fun way, but also for your resilience and ability to bounce back and keep your passion and goals when facing knock backs.

03.01.2022 Why we do what we do. We believe everyone should be able to access treatment and care when they need it. We welcome avenues for increasing training of more child psychologists and other pediatric allied health providers.

01.01.2022 Breaks my heart that this is something that parents and kids are having to navigate, but for those who are unaware there is a video doing rounds on various social media platforms with a live suicide. Dr Justin Coulson's Happy Families has some guidance for families that I would encourage you to watch.
