18.01.2022 Just a short update tonight about our ongoing response to the COVID19 situation. As you will have seen today, there are no new cases in Queensland which is great news. However, we need to remain vigilant; we are right in the middle of the 14 day incubation/infectious period. As a result, our communities at Waterford West, Redbank Plains, Sinnamon Park, Kallangur and Mango Hill will remain restricted to visitors for the next few days at least. In summary:... residents can still attend medical appointments; we can supply a face mask we will still make sure residents can order and receive their usual groceries we are still running some of our on site social activities to keep everyone occupied our ipads are available if you want to facetime your loved one care services will continue as usual no bus trips for the time being no external entertainers no social visits Stay safe everyone.....we will keep you updated

17.01.2022 A COVID 19 UPDATE FROM SEASONS CEO TRACEY SILVESTER: "The continued lack of community transmission in Queensland is good news, with the Chief Health Officer likely to reduce restrictions on aged care services later this week. Once this occurs, we will be able to reduce these restrictions even further. ... As promised last week, I have reviewed the visiting arrangements for the Seasons communities and have made the below changes at Bribie Island, Kallangur and Mango Hill. Thank you again to all our residents and their families who have been so patient and accepting of the restrictions as they have stood for the last month or so."

We are continuing to review the situation daily and as soon as we can, these restrictions will also be lifted. Thank you again for your continued patience, cooperation and understanding. 07.01.2022 Following the announcement from Queensland Health this morning where they have extended their "restricted suburbs" list, we have moved to having our staff at our Mango Hill and Kallangur Seasons communities wearing masks while at work. This is in addition to our decision Friday to restrict visitor access to these communities. We know that neither of these communities are physically in the list of restricted suburbs but we do know that a lot of our residents have families who live in these areas, as do some of our staff. As always, we are exercising an abundance of caution to the situation and are hopeful this will be a temporary measure only.

Hopefully this will be the last of this type of restriction; we need to be prepared for more though if people don't play by the rules.
