21.01.2022 Delighted to say that Doug Williams has joined the line up for ADELAIDE remembers Jon English. R’n’B soul artist Doug Williams’ infectious personality and music...al talent are formidable fixtures on the Australian music scene. The 63-year-old’s musical journey spans two continents and an impressive roster of collaborations. Before emigrating from America, he toured with such greats as Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner and James Brown. Most recently, Doug supported Taylor Dayne and Hot Chocolate on their national tours with his fivepiece band ‘Doug Williams & The Mix’. Fondly known as ‘Pappa D’, he has also worked with and mentored previous The Voice artists Diana Rouvas and Prinnie Stevens. AND now he also plays with Peter Cupples and STYLUS too. Welcome aboard Doug. We are so happy to have you. Thank you. xx

14.01.2022 Next Monday, 6 March, Brian Mannix and Tottie Goldsmith will be popping into the Daily Edition studio to remember Jon and talk about the upcoming Six Ribbons sh...ow. While we wait I thought I would share Jon's own interview on the Daily Edition back from 2014. Such a dry and quick wit he had. Made me laugh and bought tears to my eyes at the same time. xxx See more

14.01.2022 It has been almost one year since the sudden passing of one of this country's most loved performers, Jon English, and to honour one of our most prolific enterta...iners and pay tribute to his vast and varied body of work, some of Jon's friends and colleagues have banded together for two exclusive shows in Adelaide and Melbourne. I caught up with Coralea Cameron, Jon's long-term partner and manager to talk about the shows which have been a 'labour of love' and pay tribute to a very special member of the Australian music and entertainment community. 01.01.2022 Had the pleasure of talking to Ali Clarke on ABC radio Adelaide this morning, along with John Brewster who will be performing at the Adelaide show for Jon next ...week. John talked about how we all shared a house in Sweden for the Sweden Rock Festival in 2015. Jon got up and sang with the Angels there. I didn't know this, but John said only 3 people had ever performed on stage with the Angels. One was Jimmy Barnes, the other Bon Scott. And Jon. See more
