03.01.2022 Oh Encounter Bay, you show off. Although this little slice of the Fleurieu looks amazing, it isn't just a pretty face. There's heaps to do here, especially if... you're a foodie. There are so many great pubs, cafés and restaurants to try. We'd recommend a scenic drive, whale watching from the bluff, a blustery coastal walk and lunch by an open fire. If you're travelling with little ones, take a stroll across the causeway to Granite Island where you can meet the resident little penguins, and visit the amazing sea-aquarium at Oceanic Victor. Pack a picnic or call into the island café when you feel a bit peckish and take in the stunning views across the bay.
