15.01.2022 So good! I have facilitated art programs with people who have varying forms of intellectual and/or physical disabilities, I loved every second of it and some of the work was genuinely beautiful

15.01.2022 Recent drawing of the guy everyone loves to hate, Dorvald, giving the Huck a big wet kiss of approval

12.01.2022 Shots from a mural I painted on the Alfrieda St side of KFL Supermarkets St Albans, in the final months of 2018. This project was a commissioned work involving KFL and Brimbank City Council. The content is derived from the flora and fauna of the Volcanic Plains Bioregion, a vitally important ecosystem of which Brimbank is a part. The aim of the artwork is to emphasise the beauty of our natural environment, and in doing so, encourage the public to be mindful about the waste t...hey create. Had a great time painting this, and the people of St Albans are amazing! Such a great spot. Featured flora and fauna - river redgum; buloke; golden moth orchid; three-striped skink; two other species of flower I can't recall the names of...

08.01.2022 Recently completed mural in St Albans, for the ever supportive @brimbank . This painting asked for something which worked with the angular geometry of the space. . A church group use the building, and so I attempted to make reference to the spiritual, without considering specific religions. .... Sacred geometry exists in all cultures, so this abstract work takes that idea as a basis. . The red is corporeal, inserted as a representation of the body. The blues and purplish hues, which signal the sky, fold on each other and into the centre of the composition, which mirrors the shape of the wall. Thanks to my friend and fellow artist @capererg for the suggestion to continue the red onto the rails/steps, makes the piece! . #sebastianfransz #mural #abstractpainting #abstractart #spiritual #publicart #streetart

08.01.2022 A tribute to the Mediterranean origins of many of the migrant communities of the area, as well as reference to the various local small businesses; a graphic interpretation of the importance of food and culture in creating a sense of place; a reverent nod to the odd perspectives and shapes, and dreamy atmosphere, in the mesmerising works of master painter Giorgio de Chirico. Thanks to the lovely people of Keilor Park, and of course thank you to Brimbank City Council!

04.01.2022 I'm in the second iteration of Undercurrent, a group show at BSIDE Gallery, from11th to 15th April. Lots of talented art makers showing, come and have a gander if ye wish. Cheers Heesco and BSIDE for your efforts.

03.01.2022 Little mural painted in Sunshine, with the elusive spray can master Dash 88 - 'Rubbish on the street...ends up in the creek' - This work was commissioned and supported by the awesome Friends of Kororoit Creek, thanks Jessica and Jodie! Some big grinning mugs here! And sick hats too

02.01.2022 Excited to do some hip hop spray art with budding artists in this great program coming up next Tuesday! Thanks SIGNAL!

02.01.2022 Very recently completed mural for iHarvest Coworking Sunshine, at Brimbank Community and Civic Centre, in my favourite suburb in the west, Sunshine! The space is very tranquil, and has lots of beautiful shapes and tones going on in the furniture and decor. As such, I drew lots of compositional sketches, with the circle(sun) and architectural lines as launchpad for abstraction. Thanks to Nicole, Karin, Vessa and others who were happy to give me a lot of freedom on this project. Delving further into abstraction in my mural work is an artistic priority.
