21.01.2022 Today's the day! Our game is in the Gazette. And more exciting news - ALL the game cards will be in the paper! Star News will be publishing more cards next week; so everyone who sent drawings for this game will see their art in the Gazette! The PDF version will still be available, for those who want one.

15.01.2022 This is the COVID-19 Arts Response Grant project, in which I worked with our community to create a game about Cardinia Shire in isolation. I hope you have enjoyed the process and and that families love playing the game together. Thanks for playing a part together.

12.01.2022 UPDATED The A Part Together Project wasn’t just about sending in pictures for me to use to create the game; that was just the catalyst. I wanted to draw people...’s attention away from pandemic worries to focus on our local environment and community, capturing stories of history, place and kindness shown here. Anyone who joined those conversations was a participant in this project. If that was you, I would like to include your name on the Participants List, that I am finalising today (Monday). URGENT! If you have participated in the A Part Together Project in any way (sending art, joining conversations about your part of Cardinia Shire by commenting on one of my posts, or in helping me to locate people to get permission to use their photos etc), please let me know how you want your name to appear on the participants' list that will be included in the PDF version of the game, to be launched WEDNESDAY - 30 September edition! (Eg both first and surname/ artist name/ initials etc.)

06.01.2022 Here's a family activity for the weekend. The 'A Part Together' game needs more drawings on the topics 'staying safe' and 'activities done during isolation'. Wh...at new skill have you learnt? How have you adapted fun family or solo activities? Maybe you set up a drive-in theatre in your garage? Perhaps you finished a project that you are proud of? Draw me a picture! I would love you and/or your children to draw it what you have been doing. And if it has a COVID-safe humorous, delightful or genius twist, even better! I challenge you to think outside the box. For 'staying safe' think face masks, sanitiser, staying 1.5 m apart in queues at the post office or shops... This can be a joint effort - or maybe you know someone who likes to draw (any ability) who will do it for you. Send them a photo to draw or tell them what you did so they can draw it their way. All project participants can have their names on the participants' list that will be in the PDF version of the game. the game will also be published in the Pakenham-Berwick Gazette. See more
