12.01.2022 Some days we get asked for unusual request off the menu, anywhere from making baby food, to people with Allergies, not a problem, we will do what we can, when we can. Today’s was a white egg omelette, with spinach, mushrooms and slow cooked Roma tomatoes. And here is the result, the lady said that it was fantastic", awesome, and glad we were able to please.

10.01.2022 Today we had our 1st Secret Garden Morning Tea for mums and bubs-Children. It was lovely to meet some beautiful women, some familiar faces plus some new ones. We shared our back ground and family life and found some common bonds. I was lucky enough to have the time to sit and mingle myself, which was just lovely. One lady returned to Dubbo from living away in Perth for many years. It was lovely to see her mingle with other mums, starting perhaps new friendships. Another lady... was a grandma out with her daughters and grandchildren. Another mum was holding another ladies child, just priceless. I know when you move to Dubbo, it can be quite hard to meet new people in similar situations to yourself, new town, not much of a network, raising children, hubby at work, feeling like being stuck at home, or the park, not having your parents and sibling’s here, is a tough one too. When I first came to Dubbo, I was lucky enough to join a playgroup where I meet some beautiful people, but sadly most of them have left town, however some are still here. This is the reason why we have set up our Wednesday Group @10 for women and children. So if you’re free next Wednesday come and join us. The Secret Team x

07.01.2022 The Secret Garden Café Dubbo is starting up a mums and bubs group to meet every Wednesday at the Secret Garden Café Dubbo at 10am. Starting Wednesday 19th of October.

06.01.2022 Today I heard a very sad story about a young mum who broke up with her partner approximately 4 weeks ago and is living at the moment in a women’s refuge because she was asked to leave the family home, with their 2 young beautiful children, This beautiful young lady has been applying for rentals but understands that this will take some time in the New Year to hear if she has been successful or not, and we all know how long this can take. Real estate’s select applicants with th...e best profile, ie: work history etc. Ideally she is looking for a granny flat to rent, and I suggested that I would put something on our page, because perhaps someone reading this post will know someone that has an empty granny flat that would be happy to rent it out to her. This lady also is short of a few things, like a couch and crockery, towels and linen etc, If anybody has something not being used and would be willing to help a local lady in such need, please message me in my inbox and I’ll put you in touch with her. As well as, who has an empty granny flat they would be happy to rent out? Can you think of somebody?

03.01.2022 Secret Garden Mother’s group, will resume this Wednesday, (every Wed @ 10 am ) come along on your own, or bring a friend or even better you can make a friend. To kick start the New Year off I thought we would send out some cake to sample, I am thinking Chocolate Mousse Cake..
