23.01.2022 Another great testimonial from George, who also won the recent Testimonial Contest "My wife Linda was asked to travel for work on short notice to Hong Kong. Normally Linda is meticulous and plans ahead as to what she will pack with her and would travel with just the necessary documents to get her around in her travels. However, given the short notice Linda took the complete contents of her wallet with her on her trip. Upon arrival in Hong Kong and before she arrived at her h...otel, she realised her wallet had gone missing. She reported this to the local police and proceeded to the hotel she was booked into despite not having any form of payment. After alerting me I contacted Secure Sentinel and all the cards we had registered were cancelled and replacement requests were placed. The Customer Service Representative was sympathetic, knowledgable, compassionate and helpful. No unauthorised charges were recorded on any of the cards. Linda was so grateful and relieved that despite losing all her cards there was no further insult added to injury. Thank goodness for Secure Sentinel." #identityprotection #fraudprevention #travel

21.01.2022 Secure Sentinel member Laurie submitted a winning story about her experience placing a loss report. "I travel a lot for my job.I average three days out of every five overseas or, if I’m lucky, somewhere in Australia. I have a routine for travelling to make sure I don’t leave things in planes, airports or hotels. When that routine is interrupted I know to be extra careful about checking that I have everything with me. Twice in the last year Secure Sentinel has saved me grief.... I recently left my wallet stuffed full of credit cards when passing through Sydney where I had coffee with my daughter. The next person to sit at the table where I had been sitting found my wallet and rang the Secure Sentinel emergency number. Shortly afterwards I received a very welcome call from Secure Sentinel telling me the wallet had been found. They made an arrangement for it to be picked up by my daughter who posted it back. On another occasion, an evening about a year ago, I left my laptop in the seat pocket of a Silk Air flight from Hanoi to Singapore when rushing to connect to a flight to Australia. On arriving home I immediately rang Silk Air who identified my laptop from amongst several others by the Secure Sentinel label and said they would have rung the company to tell them of the find. As it was, Silk Air put my laptop on a Singapore Airlines flight to Melbourne then Virgin Australia brought it to Hobart where I live and I had it back within 36 hours. The Secure Sentinel business model is fantastic, is great value and absolutely essential if you travel. I can’t recommend it highly enough!"

15.01.2022 A great testimonial from Gail and Tim, who were winners of our recent Testimonial Contest. "My husband had spent a few weeks working with his father in Alice Springs and they were flying home the next morning, when the cabin at the motel they were staying at was broken into, while they were sleeping in the room, and both their wallets and my husband’s phone were stolen. It wasn’t until they were packing up the next morning they realised what had happened. They were both ve...ry lucky only their wallets were stolen as it could have been very nasty. Tim rang me and I rang Secure Sentinel straight away. They were very helpful and had his credit cards cancelled within the hour, which was a huge relief. The police were called but apart from finding some footprints outside they couldn’t do very much. The motel were very understanding and gave them $100 to tide them over for the flight home.. Thanks again to Secure Sentinel who made life easier in what is a trying time."
