22.01.2022 As a way of recognising ANZAC Day this year, the Mandurang Valley Events committee would like to encourage the community to create poppies and put into print a memory of a person(s) who has special relevance on this day, to them. We would like these to be plastered on the Mandurang Post Office front wall. There is no special way to do either task, variety is great, for example the poppies can be made from paper, cardboard, wool, anything anyone can image. This has been appro...ved but the RSL, we have arranged for a flag pole to be placed at the Post Office, to enable us as a community to still have our flag flying at half mast on the day. We invite you to not only participate, but to encourage your friends, neighbours, family and community groups to participate. As a means of bringing our community together for this special occasion, without actually being together.

If you want to talk about the arrangements before you register you can call David Thorne 0419 567 384 or Lea Harris 0438 551 355 but please register on line so we have the right details and we don’t miss you. 02.01.2022 The Festival of Small Halls Autumn tour was due in Sedgwick this Saturday 21st March, but has now been CANCELLED. We will miss the fun times together and great music, but it is more important that we help to prevent the spread of COVID-19. #FlattentheCurve Refunds will be provided to all who have purchased tickets. If you purchased from Mandurang Post Office, simply drop in there to collect your money. If you purchased online, the tour organisers, Woodfordia Inc, will be in touch shortly. And be assured that there will be music back in our local hall at some stage in the future. We will aim to support touring artists again once it is safe to do so.
