23.01.2022 Only a dozen of these little beauties left. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’ve been crushing on this tropical print and have a newborn on the way, you’ll want to snag these mini-fits now! https://www.seedlingbaby.com.au/product/mini-fit/

23.01.2022 We haven't officially hit summer yet, but we have hit 41 here with high winds today so I wanted to post a quick refresher on protecting your nappies from the summer heat. Dry your nappies, wet bags and training pants in the shade or inside. Hang your nappies out in the evening and bring them back in before 9 am. In the height of summer, they’ll dry overnight and leaving them out during the heat of the day will only make them feel like cardboard.... If you live in a particularly humid climate, try drying your nappies under a fan as it can be difficult to dry nappies properly outside in humid climates. Rely heavily on your flat and prefold cloth nappies, as these don’t contain elastic, which is prone to heat damage. Your flats and prefolds can be dried outside in the shade, while your covers stay inside over a rack. To help reduce the incidence of mould, keep the lid off your nappy bucket or store in a washing basket so that there is air circulating around your nappies. Wash more frequently and keep your washing machine clean. In many ways, cloth nappying in summer can be easier than it is in the winter months, so don't let the high temps stop you. Just keep an eye on the forecast and plan accordingly. @my.precious.three

21.01.2022 It’s today! Pre-orders open now for dispatch next week. Some stock is very low but a restock will be coming before Christmas so if the print/trim combo you’re after is gone, just sign up for a notification and we’ll let you know as soon as they hit the warehouse. Hope you love these new prints as much as we do @thecookieclan

20.01.2022 {DID YOU KNOW?} Reusable wet bags were designed to help cloth nappying parents keep soiled nappies away from their clean nappies while out and about, but they’ve since been embraced by people in all walks of life as an excellent practical alternative to plastic bags. They are made from a special waterproof fabric called polyurethane laminate (PUL) and as such, are useful for a variety of purposes that require keeping something wet away from something dry (or vice versa!). Is it beach weather at your place? @ourmanycoloureddays

20.01.2022 It’s kind of mind-blowing, isn’t it? The fact that we use 2000 of a thing on one child during the course of one year We get to choose whether we’ll invest in 30-odd nappies and reuse them hundreds of times each... or 2000 nappies and use them only once

19.01.2022 Monday vibes brought to you by the cutest curls and elbow dimples @maya_horak

17.01.2022 These gorgeously soft wipes are just the right thickness to get into all the little crevices that need cleaning at nappy change time but are also big enough to do the job properly. When you need a wipe that’s going to get the job done, you need something that’s bigger than your hand, and that’s what these are - a super sized 25 x 25 cm wipe available online and from your favourite Seedling Baby stockist @ourmanycoloureddays

15.01.2022 Happy birthday month to us! Like most good stories and certainly like most cloth nappy companies, ours started with a baby. A baby with a specific need (in our case, she needed a nappy solution that would work effectively with a Pavlik harness) and at the time, it was slim pickings on the market. After purchasing a Velcro closure nappy cover that did the job but wasn’t ideal, Ibegan experimenting with makingmy own fitted nappies and once happy with the design, starte...d to giftmy creations to friends and family. The rest, as they say, is history. I’ve run a number of independent businesses over the years but this nappy gig holds a special place in my heart due to it’s deep connection to my parenting journey. We’re 14 this month and the enormous privilege of living in a time and place where growing dreams and raising babies is possible, is not lost on me, nor has it ever been. Not when I was 8.5 months pregnant at a trade expo... nor when I was answering emails in labour (I’ve worked on my boundaries since then ), nor when I was developing a product for one of my kids who couldn’t quite toilet train at night by a particular arbitrary date. Far from stunting my dreams, my children have often inspired and now encourage and support them. So this birthday month is dedicated to them - these 6 wildlings who are the next generation of dream chasers and people raisers. Thank you for trusting us with your family's cloth nappy needs. We are truly grateful Eva, James and kids PS. There’s a new print hint in this image and another one in our Facebook cover photo. See if you can guess the theme of the print
