23.01.2022 You know those things you have always wanted to do? You should go do them. Wear the neon pink dress you bought that feels too loud, buy the bikini because it makes you feel sexy in the change room, eat the lemon cheesecake that reminds you of your childhood and take the bathroom selfie because the lighting rocks + you love the wallpaper! Do what feels scary and makes you feel alive and beautiful. Do the things society says not to but that deep down you want to. Tell yourse...lf you’re beautiful + be brave enough to celebrate that. Shake off the dust of all those should’s and do all the things. This is me surrounded by epic mullets and handlebar mo’s. It’s also me feeling beautiful in a city that lights me up and reminds me that nature, culture + great humans make my world go round. Vancouver, British Columbia

22.01.2022 If I could go BACK IN TIME and tell my 10-year old self one thing, it would be thisyour weirdness is your SUPERPOWER. I was a total tomboy with a blunt bowl cut and I always had bandaids on my knees from skateboarding. I had no fear, would try ANYTHING and believed in my own wildness...until my friend told me we couldn’t be friends because her mom said I was too weird. For years after I told myself I was too loud, too brazen + too much. But actually.my weird is... what’s gotten me to where I am today. It’s because of that that I’ve just finished making videos for a UK online business program (woohoo The Chain Reaction!!) and though they took me at least 27 takes for each one, I didn’t sweat it. So you don’t sweat it either, here are my top 3 tips for making videos: 1 Lighting! Face into natural lighting to flood your face with light to remove all shadows. This is a game changer! 2 Set up your background to be balanced + interesting but not distracting. Remove all random objects to make it super clean. 3 Get a teleprompter!!! 19.01.2022 90% of consumers will say the NUMBER ONE reason they bought a product or service is because someone they know recommended them. (Read that again) THAT is a BIG part of why community is so important. I know someone who can help you with that!... I have a friend that’s ah-mazing + I bet her course would sort that all out Don’t even think about it, just call her! Referrals that are so simply said but are powerful beyond measure. These come from one magic thing: TIME. Your community is built on CONNECTION + that takes time. You need to invest in nurturing those relationships. Showing up regularly. Being supportive. Being present. This means commenting on posts , responding back to people’s comments , connecting in your DMs .moving beyond the double tap for REAL TALK, to create real relationships. Then when you launch a product or have a course you’ve poured your heart + soul into, those people will be the ones to tell their friends. Not because they have to but because they WANT to. Invest in nurturing your community. It’s the MOST worthwhile place to put your time. (Thanks to this gang for being a rock solid group of badass women who I couldn't be more grateful for. )

17.01.2022 Creative flow has taken me time to understand. It took me years to figure out what it FEELS like when I’m in it, and even more time to figure out HOW to get there. When I’m in creative flow I FEEL lost in the moment, present, energized and free. But I’ll tell you now, that isn’t how I wake up! I have to make space to get into flow, plus though the years I found my own ways to get me feeling more creative. ... MY GO-TO’S: Meditation Listening to delta waves Lying in sivassana (I get the BEST ideas then!) Having a living room dance off All things ocean Giant pieces of butchers paper + fresh giant Sharpies Getting outside + going for walks Today I found this little guy + let myself get lost in it! It’s the little moments of BE-ing like this and allowing space to settle in the details that help more than pushing through to BE creative. (Try it - I’ll wait.) So, how's that first impression working for you? If you saw your profile would you be wow'd + woo'd to find out more, or pass on by? A well set up profile can weave magic for you. It can build 'know, like, trust' by providing a rich, multi-layered introduction to you. But during my 12 years in Perth, when I would tuck $5 in my bikini for coffee and swim up the beach to my local cafe, then walk up to my lululemon Australia and New Zealand shop barefoot + blissful, coffee in handin that time of my life, wrecked from my divorce, living in a tent in my friend’s backyard, swimming in the ocean every day, slowly discovering me...I found my creativity bubble up out of me. There is ...no way to express what nature does for me + to me, especially the ocean. It grounds me, slows me down and gets me present. I always breathe slower here and that seems to crack open this wildly creative side of me. I wouldn’t change the past. Not one slice of it because it’s got me to where I am now.
