Even though she has struggled to get to classes due to the covid restrictions and family life etc she always puts in % She’s a great boxing partner and push up extraordinaire Thanks to Jo price and the body shop for their contribution. Fitness Australia is calling for the removal of unnecessary COVID Marshal restrictions in h...ealth and fitness facilities before hundreds of metro and regional businesses go broke due to the increased costs and financial pressures associated with employing marshals during all operating hours. Most 24/7 gyms across NSW can no longer afford to operate 24 hours. They have been forced to reduce operating hours to ensure they can meet the COVID Marshal requirement. The effect of this is reduced access to safe and secure gyms for people in the community who need to use the gym at odd hours, CEO Barrie Elvish said. Working on the NSW gov to reduce the Covid marshal Restrictions. You can help by signing this petition and having your say. You all kept us going during lockdown not just as a business but mentally also. Keeping us motivated to provide you with our services however we could. Zoom was definitely a challenge but also lots of fun and kept a lot of us connected. 09.01.2022 Winners of the 6 week challenge are 1st Cameron Miller Well done Cam you have won a 3 month membership at SeekFitness Cam absolutely smashed the program. He made some big gains during the 6 weeks as well as lost some significant weight during the process.... Here is what Cam said about the program. The important role they play in the long-t...erm health of all Australians cannot be underestimated. Exercise improves the body’s immune system and helps keep us fit and healthy, CEO Barrie Elvish. Mr Elvish said the fitness industry, both in Australia and globally, had a range of research data available around the safety of gyms including: A US analysis of 49.4 million-member check-ins across 2,873 gyms in the US over three months studied the visit-to-virus ratio data from health and fitness clubs, showed out of the nearly 50 million visits, only 0.0023 per cent had tested positive for COVID-19 a result deemed statistically irrelevant. ukactive figures show there were 22 million visits to fitness facilities during the two months following reopening, with the number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 visits logged as 0.34, with no community transmission occurring Fitness Australia research found there were more than 7.31 million check-ins across 546 gyms in the first eight weeks after they reopened in NSW on 13 June. During that same period, there had been zero cases of reported community transmission in a gym To demystify alleged COVID links to high exertion MyZone data analysed 49,705,457 workouts and 3.8 Billion minutes of exercise over the last 12 months ending August 10th, 2020 showing high exertion occurs less than 20% of the time and very high exertion less than 4% Gyms and fitness facilities have members, not customers, enabling strict and robust contract tracing via electronic swipe and bookings data. 05.01.2022 I should have done this earlier but there is no time like the present. I myself have suffered during lockdown and all the covid 19 bullshit!! I have opened up a group page called Seek support. I feel that there is no better time than now that we should all support each other. ... I have like I said myself struggled during these times but I have also listened to many of you having the same issues, the same problems and even some that may have been silencing your own either depression, anxiety. Or maybe some of you just need a non judgmental ear or shoulder to cry on. I have started this group for all of us out there that may need someone to be there no matter what, No judgement. A group that can be sympathetic, empathetic and maybe have some words of wisdom or even be in the same boat as you so you don’t feel like you are the only one.
